Astrology offers a perspective of the interconnectedness of ourselves with
the cosmos. Maharishi Parashara, an original cognizer of Jyotish the science
of light (called by some "Vedic predictive astrology") discusses the cycles
of time in relation to the individual life streams. Understanding these
relationships fully is nothing less than enlightenment. Astrology at its
finest is a way of recognizing the expression of creation. This is a deeper
study than the newspaper's daily horoscope. Some have devoted their life to
this study. Others have a gift of this insight that has come from
understanding their own Self. Be patient enough to see past the superficial.
This is the great journey of self discovery. If it was only a small journey
it would have a less valuable conclusion.
