i wanted to say hello as a new subsriber to this list and thank you so
much for maintaining this discussion list.
i believe that i have been experiencing a kundalini awakening that began 3
years ago when i started practicing meditation again more regularly. i
started having what i called "body tremors" when i sat in meditation that
seemed to be like energy releasing out of my hand/arm, and later were
upper body convulsions. after a while this would happen before i fell
asleep and anytime i was really relaxed. these experiences never bothered
me until my health began to deteriorate and evrything started to get
really crazy in my life. i can identify with those individuals who have
described their feelings of incredible joy and euphoria, and then the
deepest darkest despair. the emotional trials have finally leveled out,
pretty much as soon as the new year turned. but my body is still a mess:
fatigue, chronic constipation, heartburn, racing heartbeat, some other
intense pain in the center of my chest that has been diagnosed as hiatal
hernia, irregular menstruation, crazy sugar cravings, too hot or too cold,
etc. plus the convulsions have become really violent. i often feel like
i'm getting beaten up. i mean it doesn't hurt at all, i'm just tossed back
and forth on the bed or in my chair like someone is slapping my across the
face. (i've wondered if this could be a memory of a past life?). i don't
mind this too much except when it keeps me awake. over time it seems
like the kundalini is working on all parts of my body, which tells me that
there is a much-needed process going on.
still i get afraid sometimes because of how much physical discomfort i
feel most days, and i've had to quit working almost completely and so my
money situation is bleak. but i try to have faith and repeat my mantra:
"everything's going to be ok!" if anybody has any ideas about how they
supported themselves through their worst times i'd appreciate knowing how
you did it. i was on temporary state disability (in california) for
fybromyalgia and hiatal hernia, but it has expired. they say it shouldn't
take that long to recover?? the establishment has absolutely no
understanding of the true nature of human beings.
thanks again.
