Please note that my "considering the source" comment referred to the
tone of the message to which I was responding, not the individual who
wrote the post.
Further, perhaps it is not clear that my original post refers to
consensual s&m, because that is what it is when it is agreed to on the
higher planes, but then the agreement is not remembered on this
earthly plane. It is a higher understanding than the brute violence
or other cruelty that may later result. Some, such as Angelique and
others may practice this more enlightened s&m here in this earthly
plane; I don't know about that.
I spoke from my observations. However, I can't speak for you, or what
you chose to believe. I expected very few people to understand,
perhaps none. So, I am merely sharing my experiences, as you all are.
I am also open to higher truths, but pointing out when I believe I
see a higher one than is being espoused or discussed here. That's all
everyone is trying to do. That is not holier than thou. Calling
someone holier than thou is not necessary. Now if I told you to do
penance or 10 hail mary's, and starting ranting how you should be
ashamed of your sins, yada yada, that is another matter. It's not
right to personally attack me for sharing my experiences and insight.
If what I say helps you or gives you pause for thought, great! If
not, so what?
