Michele, would you please tell me how you reacted to your brother's point of
view. Maybe it wasn't a surprise to you, but how do you cope with it? how
have you shelved it in your mind that your own brother judges you?

My experiences have redefined the word 'family' for me. It is kind of a
dirty word to me anymore. It has an ominious ring to it. I only read a
teenie bit of John Bradshaw's, The Family many years ago and I thought it
was blasphemous towards the family. But now, I can relate.

I think my problem with relating to a lot of people is I don't really know
how NOT to be heart to heart with people. I have difficulty being
superficial. That's why I love this List, it's a safe place for me to be
myself. I never have been able to abide by my fathers wishes of "Don't be
so emotional!"

Aha! This is incredible news and I am very happy for you to have found such
a professional. One day soon I will do some nitty gritty research in the
hopes of stumbling upon some K folks who I could exchange smiles with in
the flesh!

See ya,
Connie
