Dear Sri Maha Lingam,

I do not know where you are coming from. I have tried to search the
messages to see what I am missed, since my attention has not been on this
list. Firstly, Jasper did not say that he was an avatar, his words were
"Would you be surprised if i would say i'm an avatar also?". Before that
there was a reference stating that we can't all be Avatars etc. But, I was
puzzled by your strong reaction and still am. And I do not buy into your
strict definition of the word avatar that you appear to be so hung up on.
My dictionary provides two definitions of avatar the second being "an
embodiment or personification, as of a principle, attitude or view of life."
How can you be so sure of the intentionality of his words; to place meaning
one must understand the context and the structure. I also agree with
everybody who has stated that we all have a little god in us, and therefore
all of us are avatars to some degree; especially the more awakened ones.
The only one mentioning 'Vishnu Incarnate', that I could detect, is you. I
looked at Jasper's last message, and all of his recent messages and find
them to be thoughtful and helpful.

I can only judge based on what I see; but I do judge and also react when I
perceive a strange imbalance. Obviously, you have strong opinions about
this, perhaps you do not approve of how the word avatar has been co-opted
into the west and used to mean less than the strict Vedic literature of
Vishnu Incarnate (taking your word for that). I am trying to be respectful
here, but find it difficult given your tone. So I will let it rest.

Oh btw, if anybody claimed to be Jesus Christ I would want to hear more and
I would ask why they thought that etc. - I wouldn't jump to conclusions
about anyone's sanity without understanding the context. But then I
wouldn't use words like 'pit stop' and 'spin-bin' either - I understand too
much, and have too much judgement for downplaying and trivializing the
mysteries of the human mind, and I understand how demeaning and usually not
helpful such places are.

Peace and balance
Llewellyn
