Yes, I have heard of this. I think there was a news story not long ago on
hermaphrodites. Doctors tried to give children a feeling of being normal by
making them girls. This was a problem later in life for some who were men in
terms of hormones. It produced a real identity crisis.

Hopefully, though, it was obvious that I wasn't talking about real live
hemaphrodites, but spiritual hermaphrodites! :-)
