No. You are not wrong. The essential word in you answer is "believing"
....do you notice that?
You know, "belief", the traditional meaning, always include at least one of
three things:
1. that you accept some dogma on somebody else's authority
2. there is an enticement to make the believing easier
3. there is a punishment if you don't believe
As soon as this belief (illusion) system is gone, meaning that none of the
above three points mean anything anymore, one will discover that life, in
it's ensuing purity of truth and love, is automatically SELF evident worship
and sacredness. Sacredness in the form of "sacrifice", which literally means
SACRED-DOING and NOT giving something up (to win points or gain merit or
produce good karma, or some other secondary gratification).
SELF is when the Source and Target coincide in the state of Xstasy. Creator
and Creation realize their mutual Oneness (God and You, the same Zone so to
speak).
This state is easier to reach than one thinks, look for spots of sweetness
in one's being, enjoy them ...give it time and space...sweetness turns into
happiness, then bliss, glory, divine/human power (dynamis)...Time and space
will dissolve and... will return when wanted...which is inevitably the case
because god(s) love to play hide and seek, but they have a different silly
inappropriate name for it: "seek and find" as nothing was ever lost.
