This happened to me as well, except instead of sleep, it(?) sometimes just
threw me to the ground and I would have visions etc. Not much difference
though. It's like an emergency call one has to answer. Like, "Stop the
presses....!"
What you experience is not a dream, it is real, real, real. (IT IS NOT
ILLUSION.)
Do not let anybody (not even the Buddha:-)) ever try to convince you
otherwise.
How loud can I say this? Even the Buddha tells me to say this louder!!!
In these dream states, one........
................
I call modalities of being or reality "states" and I categorize them as
follows:
1. Xstates, states of Visions (including other senses) when the
dynamics of time and space are involved.
(Dreams are at the lower end of the spectrum, visions at the
higher. The amount of symbology, just like frequency on the light spectrum,
indicates the state's position on this spectrum.)
2. Xstasy, state of supersensitivity (all senses..., more than just
five senses are involved). Absence of time and space.
3. Xistence, normal "superficial" life (usually 5 or 6 senses) in Truth
and Love. Time and space are of course present. Granules of other states may
be in evidence, through intuition, discovery of synchronicities, positive
forebodings etc. NEVER fear, anxiety or negative forebodings, etc.)
4. There are more, but this is enough for now.
ILLUSION 'is' 'the' 'unreal' (not even a state).
Yes, it depends on what you mean by 'is'.
Illusion is 'living the lie' of counter/reactiveness, counter
effect-iveness, using STOLEN time and space (debt, sin, etc.).
One has mortgaged one's life to an illusive, abusive power-monger.
X is not involved in the world of illusive fear and the illusive games of
abusive power.
PROBLEM: 'The living lie' seems, SEEMS more of a reality than any of the
above states, especially if killing and physical suffering is involved. Do
not get led astray by arguing this. The state of argument is not an X state.
The THREAT of pain is threatened only....
The threat of pain and such (a whole list comes to mind) is applied to mimic
reality.
These illusive pains are pre-feelings, anticipations (anxiety like) of real
pains. They are INVERSE memories of mechanical pains but now treated as
though real under the threat of more threatened mechanical pain or abuse or
other negative cajoling.
When you recognize this fully, you've got it licked, you bodhisattva you!!!
Now back to reality.
In these X states of reality then, in your case the dream state, you pick up
people's illusive fears, most often at a moment of impending harm. These
people are calling on Reality (Xistence).
Your sympathetic vibrations to their suffering (your compassion) cause you
to respond,.... to help these people along in reclaiming reality of Truth
and Love.
Signs of bodhisattvahood, you dummy :-)
You got tired and slept and dreamed, in order to receive those images and be
Xstat-e-cally involved.
Problem is that we, in our dreamy mal-understandings often re-form the
reality of the images a bit so that we can easier understand and handle
them. And that is OK.
