Hi All,

Since we speak about energy from time to time I thought I would share this
experience with all.

Now Imagine a park with snow. About 4 acres. There is a stage with
singers singing and music being played. The air is cool and crisp.
Snowflakes falling. An Icerink with Children and parents skating and the
occassional couple. Evergreen trees still done up in Christmas lights.
Lights of many colours flooding the stage and the rink. Each breath that
is taken is seen in the air. Each person can barely be seen as their eyes
peek out from underneath hats and scafes and the bodies are big and puffy
from thick winter coats. Each face has a look of joy. Hot choclate being
dranken, hand rubbing, feet tapping to keep warm. Then the count down
begins and the crowd becomes closer and the body heat from each person
spreads out to the next and steam type clouds rise as Happy New Year is
screamed into the air and fireworks explode into the air. This is
the Outdoor spirit of Canadains. The Energy that begins each
year..........must admit that generally I am
not one of them......I like my heat so I stay indoors most years but once
in a while I brave the chills and the winds and become a part of this
excitment. This year I stayed indoors with some friends as I knew that
year this would be a dangerous sitution for me with the way I am picking up
emotions but watching this on TV I could pick up the excitment of the
crowd and for a moment I was there.
