Paul i too find that it's good to be friends with bad part and slowly
convince using positive words that we have to take care of these negative thoughts. I think the negative thought scome when one compares one with
others and founds oneself low to others or feel low to others. So if it's so one should go for loving all and at the same making one self strong in
that part of personality which one thinks one is lacking. Try using good words for expressing anything that will also help.
that's wat i think.

Why does one need a guru?
And then;
What happens when one has an awakened K, but does not have a guru?

Hi.
I had a dream this morning featuring a giant cube of ice. I figure this has no kundalini relevence because of course k is fire. But
this leads me to ask why people keep associating it with fire just because many of the sensations are similar to heat. It's meant to be a
serpent, and I have experienced it as whirlwinds and express trains, so I am not so sure why fire is such an important association. The
kundalini resource center has all those flames featured at the top of its title page. Is fire related to k only by way of analogy and
metaphor and ease of description or is there actually any foundation for saying that it is fire-related?

And those are the same folks who would want to keep that knowledge *out* of ordinary folks' hands. . . the same ones who hold "secrets" and the
"mysteries". I have to say, though, that there are no secrets in this world, only ones that people make up and keep to themselves to make
themselves more powerful in front of their peers.
And one needs to be cautious about hanging around "charismatic" individuals - it has been said that because of their (lack of) control
of their kundalini, they can actually manipulate another person's feelings, emotions, thoughts, even though they may not necessarily be
able to get another person's kundalini flow.

Let me deal with fire first, then ice.
Angelique told me some time ago that fire is indeed related. Fire is
the symbol of the Holy Spirit. It is a direct parallel to kundalini, since - depending on how you look at it - if either has been awakened,
many interesting things will happen. . . healing, prophecy, discernment. Fire is the sign of purification in the sense that it burns whatever it
touches so that a new foundation can be laid down.
I actually prefer to use that over "serpent" - not to flame or to get her into an argument or anything - simply because I want to avoid any
guilt - the serpent seems to have different meanings, depending on what books you've read, but anyways. . .
Now, the ice. Signs of intense cooling, the contrast of fire. With
that in mind, I must ask: could it be that the dream is telling you to seek a balance? Maybe you've already found a balance in some area in
life. With that fire rising, you must have something to keep it in check. Speaking of which, I had an interesting experience myself this
morning that I will have to post later.
Until then. . .

To: kundalini-lATnospamexecpc.com Subject: The 'Classic Kundalini Awakening'
Message-ID:
Hi,
I'm interested in hearing from someone who has experienced some of
the more 'classical' and 'deeper' Kundalini awakening symptoms, for example those found in the Gopi Krishna books, and in the
Hindu scriptures.
I'd especially like to hear from one of my 'eastern brothers/ sisters' who is especially educated in the process, especially
the nadi system, and the Hindu scriptures.
The reason I'm making this request, is that Shakti at times beats me up like a rag doll in the wind, and I get bed-ridden.
Since I am the sole support of my family, this is difficult.
Also, I was born clairvoyant, and I can watch the entire process
with 'inner vision', and I at times become 'one' with the great mind behind the transformation, and Shakti even at times
will warn me ahead of time before she starts working on a major body part that would cause me pain or potential harm
(for example she told me I had a weak heart valve, and has been healing it -- my heart skipped 3 beats tho, and i was driving
at the time - so I appreciated the warning).
The problem is though, that I am not getting the 'bliss' of Shakti through the Shushumna -- but rather I get 1 of 2 kinds of
symptoms:
1) I feel the intelligence aspect of Shakti working on some part of my body, especially she's been interested in my genitals
(where I felt a piercing), my heart (both the valve, and I've felt a large expansion there), and my brain stem. I feel her working
at these places very often -- I don't get much sensation, just a little Kundalini fire when she travels from her abode, and I get
this pearly glow sensation if I look for it.
2) The most disturbing symptom I am getting is when I feel this enormous pressure on my root chakra (it makes me cry in pain),
as i watch slowly all the heat drains out of my lower body and my arms. I feel an enourmous pillar of fire from my belly to
my brain stem, and when she gets to my brain, I feel her working on my forebrain and my corpus calleseum -- which gives me a fever
and delerium. This experience is so intense it puts me in fear of my life (though I'd welcome death if that was my fate), but I don't want
to die because I'm weak.
So I'm concerned that I don't sense very much coming up my spine, and I've certainly not had any of the 'sensual euphoria'
feelings.
Any comments from the type of person I am seeking comments from would be appreciated -- no general 'armchair kundalite comments
pls!'.
With gratitude,
Kevin
