Hi Autumn...
Welcome to the list! We hope you will share your experiences and especially
any questions you have that may help you deal with the kundalini.
Most everyone on the list has shared their experiences at one time or another
-- usually when they first come on here. They usually have many questions and
are trying to understand what the heck is going on.
I've been here for almost 2 years now and it has been a wonderful healing
experience for me. When I got here, I, too, thought I had gone nutzo! You
will find you are not... it is all part of the wonderful world of kundalini.
So share and ask away! If you feel uncomfortable sharing right now, just ask
any particular questions, and we'll be glad to help in whatever we can that
helped us. Everyone is different, and maybe you'll find someone (or many!)
here you can really click with, that seems to have been through the same as
you.

I visited your website, it was very nice, lots of warm vibes there.

I will probably take a little while in telling about my experiences,
like you said. Coming from, first, people thinking your crazy because
they're not in spiritual development and second, from people not
believing me because I'm "too young" and "trying to sound special".
I'm just getting used to being sure that I'm actually experiencing this
- although so far it's only during meditations. And my Astara lessons
are really helping me in giving me information on what's going on and
what to expect.
Sometimes though I hear the phrase that the spiritually advanced will
experience this and I realize that that's happening to me and I find it
hard to think of myself as spiritually advanced, I've made very human
mistakes and wonder if I deserve to be advanced sometimes...
I'm sure it's very human to doubt though. I've gained confidence in
myself in so many ways, I guess that will go away sometime too.
Thanks so much for the support, it's nice knowing that there are places
like these for such wonderful support.

Hi guys
I have a query about third eye.
I have been having some experience where my third eye place hurt a little
when ever I try to do something "super natural".
for example I try to give a clairvoyant message my third eye start to hurt
a little, or when I am in two places at once the same occurrence. when I
asked someone about it they reckon my third eye is half way open.
So far I am okay with it.
I am curious as to if there are people here who have been through the
opening of the third eye, and how it feels, also how can I use my third eye
to most utilize it. currently when I attempt to look through my third eye
most of the time I get me travelling though the darkness at an incredible
speed, kind of like in star trek warp travel. Other times I have seem the
whole galaxy swirling in front of my forehead and I was fully aware of the
fact that I could go anywhere by single thought alone, of course I haven't
been successful in achieving these things, they are feelings like having a
cake right in front of me, I can taste it and my mouth is watering, but I
can't eat it. It is really annoying to say the least!

I remember about 5 years ago I was meditating on the "3d eye" - with my
eyes closed - and within 90 seconds I actually saw a single eye. It was
quite phenominal and horrifying at the same time. The area around the
pupil and iris(?) was slightly yellowish, compared to the normal white
area that all people have.
I was never able to duplicate that, but I'm kind of curious myself as to
what the eye is supposed to signify. . . very much so, since I was under
the impression that one has to do kundalini meditation to make it
happen, something I've never had the time to do back then.
I always thought, too, that if it were truly opened, one could see other
worlds, people, etc., etc., without having to go through a trance. But
then again, that may just be a myth I was thinking about.

I have read all three of his books....just finished the The Celestine Vision...i
was NOT disappointed in any of his books....the concepts were clear...concise,
and imho very accurate. I highly recommend any or all of james redfield's
books...the are at the very least highly inspiritional...

Ok, the reason I wanted to send a message. A few weeks ago I had a few
visions or insights, if you will. It wasn't the first time I had this
sort of thing, but these were the most intense. I took a vacation to
the beach with my girlfriend and her family. They had been there a few
days and I drove down myself to meet them. On the way down, I realized
that I had a dream of the exact event; driving there to see them. It
was a good feeling, a happy one. I had bought her a card with a picasso
on the front (the one of the hand offering flowers to the other hand).
I gave it to her when I got there the first night. The second night, we
all went out to eat. She and I were sitting beside each other at the
table when I happened to turn around...we were sitting under a print of
the exact Picasso painting.
On the way back to her house after the vacation was over, we were
driving along, I was driving. I happened to look to my left as I was
driving at some of the mountains, and I had an overwhelming sense of
realization that I was about to get into a really big confrontation with
her family. In this vision, it was two weeks ahead that this
confrontation would take place and I would be asked by her to come to
her house (we live 2 hours apart). About 2 weeks later, she called me
because her parents wanted to have a talk with her (she finally told
them that we are planning on moving in together after she graduates
college at the end of this semester). She wanted me to come to her
house to also discuss things.
Basically, three events revolving around our vacation we forsee by me.
I was just wondering if this is an awakening of Kundalini. I have only
recently (About 2 months ago) began kundalini Yoga, though I have been
studying the theories for a few months. I have also within the last 3
or 4 months become a vegetarian.
Any thoughts? I'd love to hear them!

I went through a stage for some months in which the third eye hurt on
and off a lot. At first, I thought I was having some allergic reaction
to asthma meds! (didn't know about kundalini then..) After a while, it
went away and was replaced by other symptoms like tingling and pressure
(but not much pain) on top of head. Then it was a lot of irritating
itching and fatique. The whole things seems to be on hold for a while
during this dang heat wave though. Crappy sleep seems to have halted my
night time excursions.
I got most of the forehead pain during a period of high OBE activity. I
also began seeing energy fields during that time, which happened mostly
by itself. So I can't help you with learning to utilize it.

I don't think it is a question of open or not open with the third eye.
It is a question of how much influence it has on your perceptions.
Usually, the regular eyes still have control, so the third eye is
subordinate, unless you can go into a trance of some sort. Or the two
can work together, like when seeing energy fields. Sometimes, I flick
back and forth quickly between the 2 types of seeing, but so far, the
regular eyes seem to win out!

Some say that you can have "past" lifetimes from the future. You would
of course be blocked from remembering too much of such lifetimes to
avoid spoiling the show. You could also have "past" lifetimes that took
place in the current time frame but in other parts of the world. Time
is an illusion after all.

I have not experienced it, but I have heard a lot of people from the OBE
groups mention the black shadows or movements, especially out of the
corners of the eye, so it seems to be a common thing. I have never
heard of any bad experiences coming out of it.

Well, I often tithe to the fey, and I see no harm innit..feed the
birds, including the crows and seagulls.. and I have oftennoticed if I
forget to spill a bit in toast to the Fey, especially if I amdining
outdoors, it will often "accidentally" get spilled, to remind meto mind
my
manners and include the world invisible in my considerations ofcompany.
druid toasts the sea when he is sailing, and wind and watercarry him
well. If you tithe a bit of picnic to the ants and wasps, a weedistance
away from the picnic, they will accept the offering and leavethe table
alone. Nature has good manners..
How very shamanic! Being part Choctaw, I had to thank you for
this...
