Mornin' Kfolk,
I have been having dreams which I cannot find -in my understanding- the
symbolizm for. If any of you out there can shed some light on these the
imput would be most welcome.
Last week I had a dream where a crow took my left eye. He didn't eat it,
he just took it.... kinda snickered at me and flew away.
Night before last, I dreamt of salmon, one of which was white, and it ate
me, this was not uncomfortable,,, and I began to "see" with his
eyes...this salmon was like a person, he talked with an accent, Scottish
or Irish? sorry, I am not too up on languages anymore than I am on
animals.... but the salmon was a jokester, he had a tale about every nook
and cranny of the streams he took me through,,,, mostly gossip about
other fish and stuff.... very strange..
Just before waking to go to work this morning I was dreaming of deer or
something, (I am not sure, I think it was a deer, but I suppose it could
have been another animal with long legs and short hair,,, I know it ran
really fast, even with me hanging on for dear life to its bare back!)
I have no idea where these animals are coming from, I am not overly fond
of animals, dont get me wrong, I dont dislike them either, I just dont
pay much attention to them....
Also, yesterday morning while taking my dog, Katie, a 12 yr old, bird
chasin' near blind terrier mix, out for a walk in a nearby field, a crane
of all things flew towards us,,,,,, Katie saw it and instead of barking
or trying to run after it she sat down and watched it! The crane flew
right at us, circled us once and then landed not 10 feet away.
I dont recall seeing cranes around here much anymore, I used to when I
lived a few miles away however, we had one that used to catch fish and
eat them on the dock in the back yard,,,, yuck, always left a nasty gut
mess!
Anyway, I am a little confused about these animals and birds, I recall
someone had put up a link to animal symbolizm a while back if anyone has
that link still perhaps they could send it on to me,,,,, it would be a
start anyway as I have NOT a clue what any of this is about.

I have never healed others.just tried praying for others when i came to
knew that k -awakened can heal others. But for me small cuts , or soar
throat or mild fever, stretched muscles,pimples. i can feel them cure when
i am in meditation.

Nah, it's just a fine line I battle with daily. Get my head up in the
clouds,chasing after the bliss and POW. Long ago I understood that I
have to be worth my salt. At times I have to be the warrior. I can be of
little use to God or others if I haven't been tested. I much prefer the
spiritual tests over the awful earthly ones but then I'm on earth and
that's where the "work" has to be done.Over a period of time I
understood that getting tough on the earthly paid off with the
spiritual.Don't give any credit to dark forces.Maybe it's of the light
saying okay it's time for her lessom #22. When she gets done with this
we can really use her for that other project.
I don't know.Just trying to help with a more positive mind set.

This is marvelous! The other night, I was fretting because I haven't been able
to sleep well in the past week. Years ago, I only had that problem if I was
actively worrying about something--need a new car, out of money, boyfriend
being a jerk. Now, it's different. I toss and turn because on more subtle
levels, I feel that something is changing, evolving. Sometimes I don't even
have a clue what that could be!
What has been so exhausting is that over the past couple of years, it seems
like new awareness rapidly builds upon new awareness. I "get" something and
then a new piece insists that I need to be aware of this as well. I suppose
this is a good thing because if I hadn't been preoccupied with this spiritual
development, I would have been creating more things to keep my ego
entertained.
Thanks for the idea, Angelique. Next time I am tossing and turning, I won't
call it insomnia; I'll call it my vision quest!

Crow be a special kind o Spiritual Thought. It be a teacher o'

Well now, this be an intelligent and sensible fish fer sure, a
speakin' prpoer like an' all. Fish, it says here in me book, be
a symbol o' spiritual awareness. Soi being eatin' by spiritual
awareness be another indication ye be a movin' inta spiritual
territory with ye consciousness.

Obviously a fish of developed sensibilities, fer sure! So he be

This appears ta be sayin' that ye innocence be a runnin' away

Well, methinks tha' Spirit be a workin' overtime ta catch ye
attention. Perhaps ye might jess do some contemplation on
these thin's and see where it takes ye. Be a lookin' inta the
feelin's o' these encounters, dream or otherwise. Fer sure
there be somethin' awaitin' ye attention there.

Pretty close to Odin's raven, and Odin was one-eyed.

The salmon of wisdom in old Scottish/Irish/Welsh stuff.

Maybe the roebuck: letter B, as I recall, the beginning of the old
consonantal alphabet. "Begin!" Best way I know to chase the roebuck is to
get a copy of Robert Graves' _The White Goddess_. Not easy reading, but if
it's right for you, you'll love it!!!

Graves is your answer. It's on the old Druidic alphabets and their ciphers
and hidden meanings. (And much more!) The original alphabet was in a
crane-skin bag. Look it up in Graves!

Here's what I'm discovering. There is no "path" that is heaven-like. The
heaven-like must come from within you. There's murder and mayham in the
city and you can still feel bliss.
As long as I have looked to someone else to "complete" my (fill in the
blank--happiness, love, bliss, joy--), I am left empty, longing, needing
something outside of myself.
Everybody is doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. Thank God
everyone is not honest, faithful, soulfull and compassionate! That would be
HELL on earth. I mean, what would we do? I would be BORED! I find joy even
in the assholes. When I start feeling pouty...that mean guy did THIS to
me...I try to look for the gift he is giving me by being in my life. (OK,
sometimes it does take a while to find it. :-)

Well, one shouldn't become positive at the exclussion of being aware. I
used to be the more Dale Carnegie type of gal. Someone would be rude to me
and I would just figure I can change the situation by being courteous and
pleasant. It does work but sometimes at the expense of my own
self-expression.
Yesterday, I realized how much I have changed as I was driving home. I
wanted to exit left and was in the wrong lane. So I slowed down to creep
over to the correct lane. As I turned left, this big bitch in a van started
hollering at me. I couldn't hear exactly what she was saying, but I know it
wasn't a Dale Carnegie phrase. I looked right at her and flipped her off!
(Probably not advised in LA.) It felt sooo good.
Here are a few ideas that have helped me. A friend of mine told me that in
places my aura was indented. In those indents, the energy of others can
infiltrate and attach. My friend told me to imagine that my aura was large,
strong and clear, like Arnold Swartzenager (sp?). So now when I am in
situations where I have been known to be a "mark," like with my ex, I pump
it up and they have no "in." Does it work? It seems to be for me.
Another tip I also heard is to use sage to clear out the stuck energy in
your environment. Perhaps its our own self-doubts or negative comments of
others that linger. Mix some sage oil with water and salt and squirt your
environment.
Also, lifting weights feels like it has a direct link with my spirit. It
feels as I have become more powerful physically, I have grown more powerful
spiritually.
I do feel a lot better than I did a month ago. I think these things have
helped.
