Hey, I'm still trying to see if I can get this list server to work. I
had a few experiences with visions a few weeks ago and I wanted to get
some feedback as far as what it all means. I guess I'll wait until this
gets posted before I go more into detail.

Thanks very much for sending me this. I did not write it. It seems that the
hostility I have been getting is greater than I realized.

I have not yet decided what to do about it, except to respectfully exercise the
option of not responding to messages which are involved with it.

I am sorry for the people who have defined me as a problem, but I do not accept
the label. If you want to excise me from the list I cannot take responsibility
for that.

With regrets that this whole event ever transpired.

i dont understand why you replied to my letter this way. i guess you
meant to be funny, but i do not read this reply as funny.
my goal is to learn compassion and wisdom, granted i do not do too well
on either point sometimes, and perhaps because of my own obscurations i
can not appreciate your humour. maitri,--janpa tsomo

I'm sorry you didn't get it also. It was by no means meant to be
offensive. One thing I have learned in my search for Wisdom is you MUST
have compassion and humor in this world if you expect to maintain any
semblence of sanity and balance. In fact, they revolve around each
other. However, Humor, not unlike Beauty, is in the mind of the
beholder. That's just my opinion - I could be - no I'm right :-)!

HI! Has anyone on this list read or is reading the Celestine Prophecy? (a
book) I am currently reading it now, and am finding a lot of the information
to be true, as in a lot of people are realizing there is something more out
'there' in the world than we realized...such as a higher energy running
through us all and nature and everything. As we reach the ending of this
century changes in our world are going to take place and we can see them
happening already. People are beginning to reach a better state of
consciousness about God and the world around them. I believe this is esp.
shown in that more and more people are studying different religions and are
become involved with "New Age" activities, which deal with the energy. Just
some thoughts to ponder and maybe you can add on to. Love and light, blessed
be.
Healing quickly and thankful,

I really believe that healing need not be questioned. If one is healed
by the efforts of others, I think the only serene way to view it is in
being grateful for the unity of the universe.

I can send healing energy to loved ones but need not be given credit for
the work. As I heal I thank The Source not the vehicle or conductor.

On my journey I am learning more and more that everything just seems to
fall into place as I let go. Letting go of the need to control the
results of my actions or the actions of others I am free to enjoy each
and every experience. This is one of the many gifts of my awakening and
for it I am very grateful.

Of course, this is not to say that I do not face chalenges but
experience is teaching me that most, if not all of my chalenges are
created by my own limited thinking.

Any views on this are welcome. Please share your related experiences.

Subject: Kundalini Rising: A Process

I am very happy I have found a forum to exchange ideas regarding
kundalini experience.

The rising of kundalini energy has been a process for me which is
sometimes excellerated and sometimes seems to be on pause. I have been
experiencing a lot of syncronicity lately as a direct result of my
rising kundalini; this is an excellerated period. I am more serene,
intuitive, concern for my fellows has increased dramatically and
business opportunities seem to be falling into place. This
"excelleration" has followed a slow but consistent development of
rediscovering myself and the world around me. Prior to this
development I was "spiritually dying" very quickly and this was
reflected in the drama-trauma I experienced regularly as a manifestation
of my poor spiritual condition.

The process will continue and it is during the times which seem like
the rising of energy is on pause that I most need to remind myself of
this.

Happy Processing to you all.

Using the Christ to be inclusive, i think is actually quite exclusive.
Kundalini is inclusive and "says" a Way.
Just some of my thoughts on this subject which came up for me twice
thisweek.
Okay Gnostics - back me on this one... "the Christ" made many
references to K., including calling it I AM - and that's just the
beginning....Discuss:-)!!!

>What??

Unfortunately I have to disagree with you... I didn't pay much attention to
the initial debate - just one among many, mostly harmless stuff; one person
expressing her view... but the responses were somewhat shocking. Personal!
Not about her words, they attacked her, frontally, "you are a lousy person
with hidden agenda and you should be stopped" - that's how it reads. Now,
my first instinct is to say that some people's buttons were seriously
pushed there. And it is not just Angelique - she's in some hormone mess,
it's visible from her posts lately that she's just waiting for trouble,
doesn't matter much who it is or what is it about, but I see that some
other people have displayed equally regrettable degree of trigger-happiness.
I tried to analize the source of this "flame Mary" crusade, and what did I
find? Obedience. One word.

Now I'll try to dissect some stuff.
Obedience, definition first, Hitler yells "kill the jews" and folks scream
"sieg heil" and start building gas chambers.
Obedience, definition second, a child asks her mother to tell her a story,
mother smiles and obeys.

Obedience. Both.

Why do I have an impression that the second definition was completely lost
from sight because some people had problems with the first one?

Obedience in spirituality.
First: archetypal image of a guru manipulating students into obedience so
he could get their money and have sex with good looking female ones (or
good looking boys, it depends:), calling it tantra - or simply to satisfy
some power issue of his. People yield all responsibility for their lives to
him and look like zombies. Examples: Rajinish and Sai Baba.
Second: non-archetypal image of a guru who is having tea with his students
and shows them the right actions with his personal example. Examples: Jesus
and Mahavatar Babaji.

Why do I get the impression that Mary was talking about the second example,
not the first? And why do I get the impression that nobody really listens
to the other person when it comes to their sensitive spots? Someone has a
childhood problem with a dominant father, so let's lynch Mary Riley. Very
nice. Yuck.
Now, Mary (or mollyrATnospamibm.net, whatever), I would really love if you
explained what you _really_ wanted to say - you were not given a chance to
do it so far - and you were completely right not to respond to Sharon's
reply, it was poisonous and disrespectful of basic human dignity - I
personally forward such stuff to trash, and if someone really wants to tell
me something, there are always much better ways than frontal attack fueled
by projection of one's own crap.
Much love to all of you.

Hi Alex,

There are some things about meditation to share ...

1. Do not "expect" things to happen. This I have found personally
to be hampering any progress or experience.

2. Control diet and life-style. Preferrably keep a light diet,
vegetarian if possible with minimal use of onion and garlic.
These foods work up the activity of the mind and prevent it
    from getting into calm state.

3. Keep life-style calm, avoid arguments and speculations during
the normal active time. These only result in the mind getting
    more active.

4. Take the name of your Chosen Ideal God-figure regularly and
tune your mind into thoughts of your God constantly throughout
the day and night. This, in Indian terms, is called "japa".

5. During meditation take a confortable posture with straight
spine and every other part of the body completely relaxed.

These might be of help to you.

Cheers and love to all
Ashanka

Agreed. Interesting, when I question the idea of "non-judgment" I am
usually judged as judgmental (the capital sin). :) Indifference. What an
ugly word - it represents the opposite of "love" and "care", and it is
exactly what "non-judgment" boils down to, when (mis)understood from the
emotional/mental perspective.
The true non-judgment is realization, direct experience of the unity of
all. That I am One, and there is no other. Trying to fake that from the
perspective of individual ego results in indifference and worst kinds of
judgments.

---------------
This one is pretty funny AND true:
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared
the computer industry with the auto industry and stated that :-

"If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has,
we would all be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got 1000 miles
  to the gallon."
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press
  release stating:
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be
driving cars with the following characteristics:
  1. For no reason whatsoever your car would crash twice a day.
  2. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have
     to buy a new car.
  3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason,
and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.
  4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn, would
cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which
case you would have to reinstall the engine.
  5. Only one person at a time could use the car, unless you bought
"Car95" or "CarNT". But then you would have to buy more seats.
  6. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun,
reliable, five times as fast, and twice as easy to drive, but
would only work on five percent of the roads.
  7. The oil, water temperature and alternator warning lights would
be replaced by a single "general car default" warning light.
  8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.
  9. The airbag system would say "Are you sure?" before going off.
  10. Occasionally for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock
you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously
lifted the door handle, turned the key, and grab hold of the
      radio antenna.
  11. GM would require all car buyers to also purchase a deluxe
set of Rand McNally road maps (now a GM subsidiary), even
though they neither need them nor want them. Attempting to
delete this option would immediately cause the car's
performance to diminish by 50% or more. Moreover, GM would
become a target for investigation by the Justice Department.
  12. Every time GM introduced a new model car buyers would have
to learn to drive all over again because none of the controls
would operate in the same manner as the old car.
  13. You'd press the "start" button to shut off the engine.

If we actually take ALL the labels away we will find a common denominator
that some call Kundalini, some call Christ, some call Jesus, some call
Judaism, some call Allah, some call Buddha, some call yoga, tantric,
bdsm.......etc.

The energy of becoming the vibration level of love or acceptance or peace
can be acheived thru a plethera of sources or "Ways.". i believe that we
are constantly challenged in our daily lives to remain at "center" and can
practice one or a mixture of many Ways to achieve this challenging spot.
If we focus or declare that one Way is THE way over the others, i think, we
are collectively missing the boat and focusing on the messenger and missing
the message.

The message of all the Ways is to acheive a higher state of being. Not
better than.

just some thoughts.

Alan,
you said,
Kundalini is inclusive and "says" a Way.Yes. a Way - - - TO??? the Great
I AM That I Am. References to ? I would say,"Living water",Pentecost
with the firey tongues over the crown centers, the Holy Spirit Mother,
etc.I always believed the gifts of the Holy Spirit are the gifts of
Kundalini, , the results are similar. I have enjoyed very much joining
this group yet am waiting for the duscusions of what the way leads To.
So much talk on the phenomena, which is wonderful but what does it lead
to? Not 24 hour orgasms of the body but I think rather 24 hour
ectasies,(never could spell that sucker) of the soul. Yes???
And of course,
More Light.
