I am always looking for answers as well. The more I read and learn the more
it seems to me that the lesson that will come out of all this is to forget
everything we have learnt, and to forget all the answers we have recieved
and then we become aware of nothing. I cannot quite grasp onto this

Death has always bothered me. this is where I truly can feel the emptyness
and yet I know somehow that this is indeed the best time in a person's life.
It is this emptyness that has all the answers. It gets tempting to enter
this emptyness but I know I am here for lessons and that I cannot leave yet.

I have been aware of them but like Cathy I was told to have my eyes checked.
I do not have the greatest of eye sight but the doctor could never find a
reason for me seeing bubbles.

I see this often in the night when there are no lights. When it is at its
strongest I start feeling like I am spinning and I get scared.

I gave thought to your words and you are right. I remember many of my
dreams and yes the colour of green and white has returned to me in many
different ways. Lately I have been accomplishing a great deal through my
sleep. I started to put a crystal under my pillow awhile back and my
memories of dreams have increased. I do not always rememeber the dreams now
but I usually always remember the message that I recieved from them. Many
of my dreams in the past month have been dreams that have made me aware of
past lives and how they are connected with my present life. I am also
recieving information through my dreams about how to fix myself.

Water dreams are the same for me. It is these dreams that tend to teach me
a lot. The dreams that bother me are the ones that get very violent.
Dreams in which I can see parts of my body being disfigured or being removed
from me. Dreams in which people are suffering, dieing or being tortured.
When I was younger I was placed under theorpy for a while because I told my
mother I could see myself pulling out my eyes or cutting off my hands. They
became concerned that I was a threat to myself. This taught me to never to
tell my family about my dreams. I know I would never do these things and
yet the dreams continue! Why?

I see this too. I noticed it about 6 years ago -- some places seem to be
more snowy than others. I have no idea what this is. Maybe it isn't
metaphysical at all ... anyone have any insight?

heeheehee! This is so perfect. I was working with someone in hypnnosis
yesterday. The room was a little dark. She had a big insight and I saw her
aura flash around her head like lightning in a cloud. It was incredible.
I'm only starting to see them now and if I weren't with you wonderful folks
here I'd probably think I was having some kind of quasi-hysterical

Hello...
I am new to the list... and infact new to Kundalini yoga...
I joined because I have a growing interest in this...
I have yet to experience it for myself...
or know how to go about doing it
or finding a teacher in my area....
The last couple of weeks I have been seeing the "snake" in
many forms... including dreams, music, art, and reality....
it is a reoccuring symbol in my life now and has lead me to
find out more about Kundalini....
I feel i am receiving a call of some sort
and Her call is getting louder...
and I am not sure how to follow it...
Wondering if anyone could direct me to good books
a teacher.... (I am in Rhode Island)

Hi all,
About 6 months ago my husband started talking about the pretty visuals,
lights and floating things he was seeing, even in the daylight. When he
mentioned the flashing lights I put on my nursing hat and took his
bootie to an opthomologist since what he was describing could be retinal
detachment. It turns out he was experiencing vitreous humor detachment
which the opthomologist said happens to us all as we age but some people
notice the effects more.
So there may be a physical explanation in some cases though I don't
think it diminishes the kundalini influences at all.

dream once in which I found a green snake behind the door but it was
broken up into pieces so I put the pieces together and it was alive
again, not that it was ever dead. I had a dream once in which I used a
big green car to climb on in order to ascend a wall, and I think the
green car was my will.

my husband had a snake dream lately.
he was chasing it through the house with me nearby shouting at him not
to hurt it. The it turns out he found 2 snakes. (he didnt say the
colours) in his dream the two snakes had babies....

First, get your butt outta the future and back into the present - you don't
know what lesson will come out of all of this...

Then if it scares you, there is a misinterpretation of the 'concept' you speak
of. There is nothing to fear from Truth.
No need to forget anything (you have learned) unless it brings you out of
peace. If it does, then is the time, if you should so choose, to ask for
another way of seeing it -- at that time, forget what you have learned (in
that situation) and choose to see it differently.

And this would be from one's perspective that would want to die.... no more
life to face - no more angst, no more fear, no more problems to solve, blah
blah...
Would it not be easier but to learn to live? To face the problems to see that
they are already solved? To look at the pain and see it is not there? To
bring what is false to Truth, what is fear into Love -- all this is possible
(and much more!).

Emptyness is an illusion -- it is not the answer. Life is. Truth is. Love
is. God is. Go where the Real Answer is, not the illusion. You cannot find
anything false in what is True - you just cannot do it, as there is no Truth
in what is false (impossible!).
Instead, bring your illusions of emptyness and fear to Truth.

And you cannot leave yet because we have much work to do! We must learn that

I have just recently become aware of my kundalini awakening. (I think) I say I think because this is all so new to me and I am not sure what to do next. I need to know if one invisions a dark set of eyes starring back a me while I meditate is what to expect.These eyes that I see do not in any way scare me I am a little aprehensive to keep on looking at them, I think it's because of the unknown. Also during some poses I here a tiny voice in the back of my mind telling me that I am safe and I can trust him to keep me safe. What should I expect next? Thanks flutter

Hello Sheila,
I think this was the experience that began my kundalini to rise. I
remember a friend telling me a few days earlier that to have OBE's you had
to enter a meditation type state... and as you breathe in deeply imagine
you are breathing in love... and you can get to the stage where you breathe
in so much that it cant exit out with your breathe so it exits out all your
chakras. He hadnt managed to get it to work - but I tried it during this
class I was taking and it really knocked my socks off! :-)
The beings <there were two> were just light forms. I can remember it so
clearly. They were neither male or female and they touched my elbows and
arms ... as if to guide me somewhere... I didnt go... and looking back now
its nice that I had the ability to say no. They were never threatening. I
felt them around me for days afterwards.
The only other OBE experience I have had is being slightly out of my body
whilst lying in bed and I looked down and could *see* the spinning vortex's
of my chakras. It was in black and white and was before I knew that they
were that shape from books! :-)
Marvelous stuff! I have frequently meditated and felt a see-saw feeling,
like a boat heaving from side to side on the waves - which is apparently
the 'soul' trying to get out of the body ... never quite managed it though.
Tell me more about yours! Did you see anything?

Hello Katherine,
I do alot of work with dreams and have found that the more an issue in a
dream is ignored then the stronger the dream images become. I have had
people coming to me who have stalkers and murderers in their dreams. I
believe all part of a dream are parts of what is inside of us. Think about
pulling out your eyes... what would this mean for you? Would it stop you
from being able to do something? would it protect you? And what part of
you would be doing this?
Dreams are a gift. And usually the images within have a wisdom and a
treasure that we seldom tap into...

I've seen the 'snow' following meditations. And during particularly deep
ones...or after using a light/sound machine, the snow is more dense. I can
feel it then like water vapor on my skin. The first time this happened I
came out of meditation wondering if the roof was leaking. Does anyone else
'feel' this water vapor?

Well me does understand this. In me ramblin' muddyphysical
spiritual journey, me hast come upon this feelin'/concept. Me
understandin' o' it now is that it depends on how ye be a lookin'
at ye journey. If ye holds that ye be just a body with thinkin'
and emotional capcities, then throwin' away ye learnin' would be
plain foolishness. It would be like standin' on a ladder than a
pushin' it over. If ye holds that ye be a spiritual Bein' with the
body and such, then ye learnin's be a ladder ye climbs ta reach
the roof, an' then ye pushes it away. Ya see this depends upon
what ye be a standin' on. One be scarry an' the other not.
