Love... what a beautiful word, or... what is it, a personal feeling,
something Divine? Something unchangeable under any circumstance or felt
less or more under certain (personal) conditions?
Most of us know love as something personal, that may change under
certain self imposed conditions, etc. etc.
It may sound very familiar for many and some know that the partner may
start 'loving' you less if you do some things that he/she does not
appreciate... So... love is like giving away most of your being to
please the personal requirements of another person? Is this sharing?
NOT IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS...
This kind of love is the love of separation for qualities (of
separation) like possesion and jealousy come into play...
Is it possible in this way to love your neighbour as you would love
yourself? You already know the answer. *smile*
So, when one says that you should love your neighbour as you love
yourself apparently one is talking here about another kind of love.
And although it might sound as a fairy tail for most, those who have
felt even for a small period of time Divine Love will tell otherwise.
It is very difficult if not almost impossible to talk about (Divine)
Love when first there are no words to effectively describe it (nor will
ever be) and secondly, can you imagine how difficult it is to talk or
try to explain Someting that many people reject immediately?
I'll try to give an example...
Let's suppose that I and a handful other people know about the existance
of 'gremlins'. Can you imagine how difficult it is going to be to
explain to others something that they never have seen (or felt)?
And this is 'easy', for it is something rational/materialistic...
What if it is about something spiritual for which the proof is going to
be a resonance (equal vibration) to 'your' Heart?

Separation or integration... You choose...
Whatever one chooses is just fine. One will live and expereince events,
according to the choice(s) made.
Some may tend to emphasize life from a negative point of view, others
from a more positive one.
Some may accept only what is in their minds and reject the rest, while
others tend to make all kind of friends using their Hearts.

Choice. Free will.
Life as we all know is based on separation... so it is not so strange
that it is like that. Many find it in fact quite strange (and may even
reject) that there is also another way. Where sharing really means
SHARING, where love is LOVE, ... where at the end, you will Love your
neighbour the same as you'll love yourself. Can you imagine how
beautiful this is?

I'd reply that it appears to be part of the curriculum. I've started to
hit that stage, which for an aspiring writer and editor is a bit of a
conundrum. But pretty funny...

Dearest Starlene:
My only related exerience is using Reiki healing (I am certified as
Level 2, meaning I've been taught remote healing, altho I haven't
practiced much). From what I have been taught, all schools of spiritual
healing draw from the same energy source; the differences are only (I
assume) a matter of style, jargon or technique. The different names of
God/energy don't matter much to me. They produce the same result.
In Reiki, it is very common for the client and the healer to each feel
intense physical heat, although sometimes the sensations are described
as cold, tingling, pulsating, throbbing, or electric. One healer I know
used a professional digital thermometer (he works in a hospital) and
measured the heat from his hands at 140 degrees F. Clearly not just body
heat.
I've been taught that, while the healer is helping the client, the
healer also receives whatever healing s/he needs. I would interpret your
symptoms as your body being purified to better serve you in your healing
work. Not to be concerned, IMO.
I also (sometimes) get intense feeling of pressure/heat/cramping at my
3rd eye while giving Reiki. My heart chakra and upper chest sometimes
generate incredible amounts of heat, even while doing something
"mundane" like reading the k-list or thinking loving thoughts about my
children. I can break into a sweat just sitting still, indoors and in
the air conditioning, and other people can feel the heat from 3 or 4
feet away.
Until I read your question, I hadn't really thought about it much, just
never concerned me, possibly because my Reiki training had taught me
what to expect.
If it seems relevant, you might check out www.reiki.org for more answers
to your questions re: healing, or a list of healers you could study
with. There are many other reiki schools around the world, but this is
the one I studied under, and they appear quite ethical.
If you are open to it, I would like to practice my remote healing on you
and vice-versa. I need to work with someone "sensitive" until my own
perceptions become more refined. Email me and we can discuss off-list.
Anyone else who wants to swap remote healing, also feel free to Email.
Can't promise results, but it won't cost you anything to try!
