They saw the ideal husband in me and would like me to partake in "bonding
ritual" LOL. I only had read the summary of the tourist-guide... It said,
most man are promiscuous and working abroad, the children are charming and
the women are not interested in foreign men. The children were more than
charming, when leaving school in their nice uniforms they imitated my
speed-walking style and often we started running five miles or so. Then I
offered all of them a drink. After a time I noticed some children started to
beg and many grown-ups were very ashamed because of it. One time a child
approached me, saying "money?" and I pretended to misunderstand. I answered:
"Si tu es Bonnie, je suis Clyde"(If you are Bonnie, I am Clyde). The other
kids roared with laughter and the little beggar was very ashamed. The
begging was over. Then, after a few days, I was surrounded by four pretty
women... Even Patanjali wouldn´t have solved it, unless by using siddhis. My
total confusion must have been visible very clearly and when I tried to get
away, the women were roaring with laughter - sometimes it is still echoing
in my ears. When after my trip I got home and took a read of the entire
guide, it said: The women are not interested in men because their men are so
promiscuous and it was the whites, especially the priests, who gave the
example. Because abandoned women have to raise kids and have to work also,
men are judged in their possibility to support a family (>=$300 a month),
their behavior with kids, other social properties and after that, physical
fitness and outer appearance. Next time I´ll read the entire guide before I
leave...

Jerry: I say send him out there. So that his "Deepest Knowledge" can be
revealed, of course, and because ... uh ... ya know ... we ran out of
milk and maybe he can pick some up on the way back "here."

 Ah Jerry...the wonderful taste of testosterone....what a rush! :-)

Hi everybody! I have been lurking for a week or two...what a WONDERFUL

keep running after the wagon...if I could only learn to fly!

I had a nice and easy job in electronics engineering. Upon realizing it was
120 years of age, a transplanted cornea got infected. My immune system
prevented two new transplants (the other side of being healthy) and because
the dominant eye was defect, I was considered unfit for work. I got
permission to leave for Tenerife (Canary Islands). Due to the extreme
intensity of light (>100.000 lux), at day my sight is unimpaired but I
cannot see in stereo: the eyes are too different and the "central image" is
blanked out. Traffic here is extremely dangerous and my friends don´t like
my joke: "the faster I drive, the better my simulated 3D vision", despite
the fact it is true (a great excuse for speeding -LOL). So I was looking for
another place under the sun and winded up at Cape Verde, some 1000 miles
South from here. I tried to raise some money for private development aid in
Cape Verde by setting up a microwave distribution system for satellite TV
here but the rapid introduction of digital TV prevented it. Life here is
great, especially if you´re disguised as a tourist (throughout the year
there are many). Because the "simulated 3D" doesn´t work when parking, once
I lost the letters on the front-plate of the car and I replaced them with
letters from the book-shop. The color was the wrong color of red but its a
pleasant anarchy here, so what. When the police halted me, they said (in
Spanish) it´s illegal to drive with such a plate. I pretended not to
understand and finally the officer yelled to his colleague " turista loco"
(crazy tourist). I could continue the trip and ordered a new plate in
Belgium. Too illustrate more, in one of the villages there is a straight 4
lane road with a speed limit of about 30 mph. Regularly you can watch the
police car doing 45 mph, being overtaken by cars doing 50-70 mph. Living
here is relaxation itself - certainly if you´re early retired, fit and
manage (almost) every situation. Police-officers have a different opinion -
they even prefer to serve in Basque-country, where they are targeted by Eta.
I am at least attached to living in the tropics and without "intervention
from above" I will keep it this way.

So I ask you all, why are we on this planet? What are we gathered her,
for?
Usually I am one to scorn things that say "please pass this on as widely
as possible", but this message, is what the internet and international
instantaneous connectivity was shaped to do. This work, I feel, is the
purpose of the technology we have wrought. Dearly Beloveds, we are gathered
here today.. to pull in the light, and give it to the planet. With all of
the limitless power of unconditional love that is inside of us. Blessed be.
Mystress.

John:
Very intense indeed. The consummate newbie here. Please be patient with
my seeming inability to say hello or goodbye (they seem connected in
some way, just not sure how)

I had the most amazing experience, and reading this brought it to mind.
I was lying down one afternoon, attempting "concsiousness expansion"
exercises, when I felt/heard a 'snap'. I was then aware of two distinct
concurrent perceptions; one was of myself racing up the side of the
planet, the other was out in space, observing the planet and "me" (as a
spot of white) making the trip.
Anyway, after a meticulous and fascinating encounter with a polar bear
(I could smell its fur and feel its skin, the incredible insulation from
the elements, the power and serenity..total control by absolute
surrender..) I returned to my back yard, to find a 'female form' waiting
for me. Knowing the form to be female was a feeling, not an
observation..the only sembalence to human was the outline, inside the
outline was a swirling mixture of texture and color...I approached 'her'
and we began to meld, intermingling essences, indescribable acceptance
and trust...we 'switched' identities, she bacame me and I became her,
both still aware of the other, and made Love from this perspective. Not
a physical, penetrating sex...yeeeee, not ez to describe.
After our encounter I found myself once again laying on my bed in a
state of wonderment and awe...I wandered through the woods for a while,
listening to the whispers of the trees (very wise they are!) and feeling
the Love of Gaia, the sun on my face, the caress of the wind...
I thought this would be easy to relate, now i find myself scattered in
the memory.

A most amazing list this is...Thank you all for letting me share this
and not feeling like the odd man out.....

John:
The greatest insight is accompanied by the heartiest laughter! To
