I had all sorts of flashes - hot and cold included. :) I don't know if it
is the same thing, but when K goes in my heart I sometimes start burning,
my body tempereture jumps sky high, I blush, all that stuff - sometimes it
is just a few seconds, sometimes it used to be much longer - sometimes it
got so sudden and intense I thought I'll have an orgasm. Is that what you
girls mean? ;)
Actually, now that I think of it, when I experienced those, the menopause
came to my mind. I think those are some kind of an intense pranic flow, but
I don't know what it represents.

It is extremely difficult to do any precise and intense pranic work here -
too much background noise, me and Felix both have problems with that. The
last time I was drawing power (vajra) I couldn't eat - the food messed up
my systems so I lost the focus; I could only drink mineral water; it was
also so difficult to find a location that didn't have astral mess on it;
yuck. :) I really could use some intense peace in order to align and test
all the higher resources... No wonder folks go to the Tibet. :)

Most of us are here in Zagreb or very near (that includes Lasko, Slovenia -
Zoran & Zvjezdana live there) - except Bozo who is in Split, Fritz who is
in Slavonia and Tea who is in Austria. :)

If I get your translation then you are saying:?

You don't have a total direct exprience [of a phenom.] of god?

I don't think god is a phenom., I think god IS the thought,
if your thinkin',
I think you got the idea, that IS direct experience.

In my opinion. Thus far.

I think "grokking" was more - it was to spend time understanding the
experience in fullness, incorporating it into your being. So he might have
had an experience but would say that he hadn't yet had the time to grok it
in fullness.

Hello K list. I have a little story I would like to share with you all.
Here it goes:

There was once an ancient Zen master who was approached by a knowledgeable
scientist and philosopher who requested his teaching, saying, "I understand
much of the physical laws of the universe and the way of things, but there
may be something you could add. May I have the teachings?" The Zen
master invited him to sit and offered him tea. The scientist held out his
cup as the Zen master began to fill it and continued pouring as the tea
spilled over onto the floor. Looking up at the Zen master, he said, "This
is no good. My cup is too full." And the Zen master, smiling, replied,
"That is right. Like this cup, your mind is too full. Empty your cup and
then come back for the teaching. Perhaps then you will have room to
receive the truth."

My experience has been "thinking is hazardous to my health." All the
answers that I need come from deep within as a silent whisper and not
the racket between my ears.

If someone would like to share their understanding of those whispers, I
be more than happy to share mine. I am not interested in intellectual
diatribes. Let hearts touch through cyber-space because where hearts
are concerned, there is no separation.

The first time I heard "Mask and Mirror" was at a New Age fair in London.
Quinlan Road, the record company, had taken a stall there and they had one
of those CD audition things with headphones. I turned on, tuned in - and
burst into tears ten seconds into the first track.

This is not cool for someone who values their dignity in the middle of the
over a 1000 earnestly New Agey types.

Quick! Fast forward to the next track!

Same effect.

Uh oh... I think I'm hooked. :)

Yup. World class musician. World class business woman too. Who still takes
time out when she needs to. Impressive...

Newspapers and magazines pay me to string words together for them, and I've
been trying to persuade Quinlan Road to let me do an interview for one of
the UK dailies, and possibly for one or two others (such as the fans on her
mailing list, and a UK New Age mag called Kindred Spirit) too.

No joy yet (although I did run into Loreena and her band at Heathrow one
bright November morning a year or so ago - as you do :) ) but if it happens
I *will* ask about kundalini. :)

>The synthesis of Celtic and Indian and other styles is terrific...I'm
wondering if
>her first album, "The Elemental" <?> is as good...

Elemental and Parallel Dreams have a rather rawer, less polished sound than
the later albums. I don't listen to them much, but I know that some people
love them.

My favourite is To Drive The Cold Winter Away - a collection of carols. One
of the songs on there - called Snow - just wipes me out every time I hear
it. Pure magic.

>Now all I gotta do is wedge that CD from my hubby's hot little
hands...sigh...maybe
>I can make him an offer he "can't" refuse...hmmn...

"Mafiosos in domestic CD dispute horror! Kundalini list blamed!" :)

I have absolutely no idea what a menopausal hot flash feels like. But I
have been getting regular warmth and heat in different parts of the body
since my kundalini started doing its thing last year.

Definitely not unpleasant - not intense, more a very obvious warmth that
happens every so often.

Age - 35. K awakening - still happening, albeit very slowly (which suits me
fine). How long - a few months now. Probably a while yet to go. :)

Hi,
grokking is used in shamanism, it's when you
get in tune with something's vibrations
(like a rock or a plant)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Michele:

I believe we have been introduced on the K-List. My name is Mark. I am
male and here is a brief run down of my K-symptoms:

age 34 - became aware of sine wave moving lightly within physical body.

age 34- physical body went into rejection of tobacco and fatty foods. I
was literally forced to stop smoking cigarettes and change diet. I
became a vegetarian.

age 34 - racing heart and insomnia

age 38 - skin became very sensitive to touch; burning band across chest
which was very uncomfortable. I remember literally punching myself in
the chest to make it go away. Sine wave increased dramatically in
intensity.
Started speaking in Sanskrit sounding language. Nausea in the morning.
Became aware of Holy Parental Presence.

age 39 - burning around throat - numbness; same feeling as in chest.
Burning numbness in chest had gone - it seemed to move into the throat.
Nausea in morning. Tingling in hands; automatic writing in sanskrit
language.

age 43 (now)
nausea is gone. Throat is still numb but not uncomfortable. Chest
tingles a little. Entire body tingles. Sine wave has increased
astronomically.
Have experienced burning numbness in eyes - right in the eye balls! -
was very uncomfortable. Lasted only two days.

Forehead feels as if it is glowing - feel band around top of head. Am
aware of a body outside of my physical one. I feel parked in the flesh -
like I am sitting in it. Am aware of sine wave moving through the top of
my head on into infinity. Am very aware of energy moving in and out of
hands, feet, chest, throat, forehead, and crown. Usually very pleasant!

Physical body is moved into "yoga type" postures and positions by what I
call the Holy Spirit or Holy Parent. It appears to be a will outside of
my own.Various other body movements are also present. Spinning hands
over chakras, arms spinning; hands are formed into a "cup-like" position
and are motioned to the earth as if scooping up something. The cup is
then moved to various energy centers and the contents are offered to the
energy center in question; a nourishing gesture from my higher self.

Psychic impressions are made upon my mind. "Love" is the key word.

This has been and remains to be my "K-Experience"

Peace,

Mark

Insomia has returned - not all the time - only when heart races and
energy flashes occur during sleep.

Am aware of vivid colours and images when trying to sleep. See very
bright blues, greens and purples. Quite beautiful!

There has been a definite increase in my creativity. I am a songwriter,
record producer, performer and I am presently experiencing a renaissance
regarding my work. Very very enjoyable!

Gloria:
Sometimes those dramatic circumstances really empower you to go within,
I have a feeling that is what it has done with you. My heart goes out to
you, the way will be made for you to find that inner quiet even if it is
not that harmony around you, the way is there. One of the young men that
is doing the retreat on my page has four kids one three years old,
anyway, whenever he tries to meditate there is always some interruption,
again and again. This is teaching him that no matter what he will find
the way to that inner quiet, but it is a test...are you reading this
Trent, perhaps you can share with Danijel also.

GG
Do you have a shortage of food or get food that isn't good?

Gloria here:
I guess some of you live in California with the rains and others in
Florida with the disaster there. Let us know how you are doing. Here in
REno we got 8 inches of snow last night, it was beautiful but slick. We
have something like 160% snow in the mountains with a whole lot more to
come. And I hear California has had the most rain on record is that
true? The news said out of 48 days something like 41 of the days had
rain.
