AFAIK, tantra is _not_ about sex, it is about using the sexual part of us
in order to feed our connection with God. An enormous part of my own energy has always been connected to sexuality - at first I tried to repress that,
following some extremely stupid advice, and that has lead me nowhere, I became a hard, rough, unkind and even at some times cruel and insensitive
person. Not a very nice place to be. As a matter of fact, the opposite to that is the way to go - by recognizing that we are very sexual beings, we
are able to focus all that enormous energy of attraction, joy, adoration and devotion on God/Goddess. It is, IMO, the only way to go. However, it
does not have anything to do with actually having sex - that can lead to forming the horizontal energy links with the other person, unless he/she is
also completely focused on God/Goddess. Otherwise, it is just plain ordinary sex, not vamacarya tantra as some like to call it.

Well, the first thing is to feel that stuff, to be able to connect to the
emotional contents of that energy - the first thing to do is to open vertically. The easiest way to do that is to "remember God", by reading the
most powerful holy text you know, to think about your guru - having Sai Baba's picture in front of you may help enormously. With time, you'll be
able to do that at will, without any external help. The next thing is to feel your inner space, starting from your feet and going up. You will be
able to feel the junk; feel it, and surrender it and yourself to God. Oh well, I've come this far, I can make the entire technique public here. You
know the "jerk movement" of the head when you finish urinating, or your entire body shaking when you go from warm to a cold place? That's it. Try
to do it at will, using yoni mudra, that is the contraction of the perineum/anus (perineum/anus/vagina for women) area, it draws the energy
into susumna nadi, going straight up and leaving your body through sahasra-ara. The most important thing is to internalize before doing it, to
go inside, connect to God, and then do it. Most of the problems with Kundalini awakening are the result of externalization, looking out; that
overloads the impure systems and causes all sorts of problems. With this, you'll be able to instantly draw such energy outbursts inside and up,
surrendering all the excess energy to God. Bottom line is, with this you can clean up all the surface junk in a matter of days, as soon as you learn
to do this right. In a month, most probably you'll be able to reach the vertical barrier on your top level chakra, where the real fun starts. :)
More about that when you get there.
Things to have in mind about doing this: - It doesn't stop until _everything_ is out. This is a serious
transformation tool and should not be taken lightly. The results are extremely powerful.
- Cleaning the junk releases more junk in the system; the junk has to be removed before implanting itself into the system, because it can cause
trouble; when the chain reaction of cleaning up a certain area is started, it has to be finished
- Do not do this unless you want to attain liberation. That's where this leads. No other goal is possible.
When you do this, at first you could have parts of your body jerking;
left-right head movement means you are doing it right; energy is performing a spiral movement around the spine and exiting through the crown chakra. I
called this technique "up-stream kriya", a sort of an English/Sanskrit mish-mash. :) My students are doing this very successfully. It is
demanding, though, it is not difficult to do but discipline is required. Of course, there are some rules regarding the way of life that make this a lot
easier. ;)
I hope I'll not regret this later. That's the first time I am making this public.

solar plexus energy, if you open up the third eye while your still got up in thinking, I, me, mine. All you do is end up being psychic without
any real awareness of what is going on in your life, this is not a blessing. If you put your focus and energy into getting into the heart
and building a relationship with your true Self, as the God within you, your life will change forever, you will no longer be living from the I
think, I want, I feel ...and you will be on a path of self discovery. Check out my homepage if you want a easy heart centered meditation.

You are just becoming more aware and are noticing how you are communicating in and out of the body, this is natural, it is from
becoming more detached so that you can be here and there at the same time. Perfectly natural, in fact it will increase tremendously over the
years so just go with it. The grounding is to help you stay connected to what is going on here and now, for some people they tend to want to be
gone and not here. You know the difference with that one don't you? GG

that she can get centered and let go of the thoughts, fear, etc. If she chooses to focus on centering on the heart... it will allow her to bring
a higher energy in and with it will come more understanding and trust. It sounds like she has a lot of things happening that she doesn't know
how to handle. If she is interested have her look at my homepage, she will find a good, easy and safe meditation there that should help her to
get inside, if she wants to talk to me I will talk to her, no problem. None of this is unusual in our time, in fact we can expect to see many
people find themselves in this situation. Gloria >

In a recent post I mentioned that schools differ as to which cakra should be the initial center of concentration. Harsha mentioned, and many teachers
have as well (e.g. Sri Chinmoy), that concentration should begin with the heart cakra. Tibetan tantric schools most often recommend the navel. Many
hatha and Natha yogins recommend the ajna or bhrumadhya -(lit. midbrow - another name for the center between the eyes). Personally I have found the
mid-brow the easiest entry point for breath/mind to enter the sushumna or central channel. Once the breath/mind enters the central channel then the
kundlaini is naturally awakened. But ``concentration'' is a delicate process. I have found it effective to simply imagine that one's breath
enters and exits through this spot. Kind Regards,
Kurt

I've always wondered what would come out of focusing attention on the Ajna, the supposedly mystical eye. There were a few books I came across
that recommended using this center as a means for soul travel. I'm wondering if this is an area worth exploring or just continue doing the
overall work and letting this area develop naturally. Has anyone out there experimented in this area? I'd be interested in
hearing about experiences or what this type of concentration brings about. Most meditation practice concentrates the field of vision to
this area. I guess what I'm referring to above though is a more open, "come what may" approach.
Does any of this make sense?

  Hello:
I do not know If I am self-realized. The definition of what that is supposed to mean, seems to change and shift, depending on who describes it.
Same deal, with "Good" and "Bad." Depends who you talk to..
I do know that Goddess is All that Is, and if you come to use my toilet, you will find this inspirational literature I composed one day years ago,
whilst on the toilet, posted on the wall. I informally call this piece of literature, "the S**t thing". (** for
the benefit our members with more delicate sensibilities") I have shared copies of it with hundreds of people. They were at first puzzled, then
delighted, usually.. Now I share it with Y'all.
It's proper and elegant name is:
Insights into Life can be found anywhere. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was in my bathroom yesterday morning, voiding my wastes, feeling
slightly philosphical. "Whew!" I thought to myself, "that's a lota S**t!" and I like to think
positive, so I added, "Good thing I'm getting rid of it, or else I'd get all toxic and bloated and die."
HEY! The ingestion of Life is bound to produce some S**t!
Keeping my S**t in is slow death by poisoning. If I'm not producing any S**t, then I'm probably starving. Not taking
life in, letting it nourish me.
Hmmmm.. Good metaphor. How far does it go? Lets play with it.
I have some food allergies, sometimes everything I consume turns to S**t before I can Digest it properly. The same thing happens to my Mom when she
worries. Unfounded fears turning Life into S**t. What about people who take a lot of laxatives? My naturopath recommended
a series of high colonic irrigations, to rinse away all my really old S**t, so I'd be healthier.
I've heard of emotionally disturbed children who are terrified of using the toilet, afraid that with each S**t, they are losing a vital part of
themselves they can't ever get back. Other sick children smear their S**t ont he walls, to get our attention.
Most toddlers think their S**t is very interesting, fun to play with. New parents coo excitedly over baby S**t.
Psychologists say a big part of adult personality is shaped by toilet training experiences.
Someone told me, in a candid moment, that they found the idea or experience of being S**t upon by someone they admired, erotic.
In Victorian times, people tried to pretend that S**t did not exist.
Dogs relate to each other thru their S**t. Birds S**t often so they can be light and fly high.
Some plants depend on bird S**t to spread theri seeds.
S**t is a part of the cycle of life. If I compost my S**t, I can use it to inspire the growth of beautiful
flowers, food for my soul. I always look at my S**t,to see how well I'm digesting life.
Perhaps if I were very spiritually advanced, living on Cosmic Energy and
lotus nectar, maybe I could live without needing to create any S**t. Until then, I'll keep on setting aside a little bit of quiet time, every
day, to deal with my S**t, and make room to take in more Life!

Another problem with that: claiming something gets one imprisoned. There is
nothing to hang on to; as Felix said, if the prana isn't flowing, it isn't prana. :) One has to let the river flow through him, washing away all the
junk on its path.

:)))) Just some stuff specific to my technique: seven levels of purifying
the Kundalini-flow. The rules are not yet quite clear to me mentally, but there seems to be an empirical rule about that: the second level is
accessed by clearing a huge block on mula-adhara and stopping at sva-adhisthana. The third level is accessed by clearing sva-adhisthana...
and the seventh level by clearing ajna. When the chakra is cleared, one can access its full potential, not before that. That is the explanation behind
some things; for instance, when one gets his/her throat chakra activated, it is usually associated with freedom of verbal expression, seeing blue
etc. Visuddha, on the sixth level of Kundalini, at its full power... oh well, no need of telling _you_ that, isn't there? ;))) Pronouncing the
Reality. Enough said.
