Anandajyoti> Shahanshah, how can Kundalini be bad, it is but energy.
Don't you think that it is the way we use it makes it good or bad or
indifferent, in the physical/emotional or mental realm. The actions
which we all do is the outer manifestation of our thoughts,
inclinations, predispositions, and determination. That's what I think it
is.
Are you equating thoughts with Karmas? In my understanding Karma is the
determinant of our motives and intentions, which are many a time hidden
away in our conscious, or subconscious minds, and accordingly we are
meted out its consequences as reactions or responses, in the outer
world. In Society though, even the physical acts themselves, are met
with reactions or responses., by which society through its laws, tries
to maintain a sense of balance, in social/familial interactions.

    MEDITATION

Sometimes if a very strong karma opens, one gets agitated........

I strongly understand that all energy movements named Kundalini
energy are a strong sensations of old karmas. .......

Anandajyoti> I would disagree with this concept that all Kundalini
movements are due to old karmas, what happens to the Karma which we go
through for the present time.? Do you mean that strong Karmas result in
agitation of the body /mind complex?

.......Nirvana) is only possible by Sunyata meditation..........

With Moksh one merges in SHIVA(nature).
With Nirvana one merges in SHAKTI(God of evolution)
At the end of Brahma cycle both merge in each other and duality ends.

Anandajyoti> With due respect to your understanding, do you mean those
who do not believe in any Godhead, are outside the possibility of
realizing themselves. How can the one method of Sunyata meditation be
the only way to Nirvana or Moksha. I understand Nirvana being the
realization, that ALL is ONE, Pure Consciousness,
So is Moksha, which when realized, gives the sense freedom to the
individual , and allows one to be outside the bondage of life and death
cycles, one who can remain unaffected by the changes of the ever
changing rhythms of our mental attributes.
Moksha and Nirvana are one and the same in the ultimate realization of
Oneness.

not true understanding. It shows a strong bias.

Yes I agree, If the Universal Consciousness is One and limitless, how
can we in all sanity, even try to limit the limitless,
It all boils down to how we live and participate in this world, even
with that knowing. Its all the play of Consciousness, varying in degrees
in all individuals. Individual bubbles in the Sea are a part of the
Sea itself.
The difference is only in degree, not in kind.

Hi Theresa.
You must have prepared you body very well for receiving all this extra energy.
In my case, I needed to get very very physically active to contain it. I
became much more athletic and creative. By channeling this extra energy, what
appeared as panic soon became Bliss. I wrote, painted, swam, played
volleyball, guitar, scuba dived, went back to college and got my BA, finished
raising my three children and then wrote a book.

Did someone ask who are we loved by? I am reminded of a couple of stanzas
from one my poems which is not in front of me so I am relying on memory.

Still and Silent I have kept
Loved you very Quietly
from a distance as you slept
Know that one day this Love of Mine
will overtake; it must!
Nothing much I can do because
inevitably this Heart will burst
being much too full for too long
with unsung lullabies and songs
but I am only too content
to just let it go like that.

Dan after reading your story I can understand your confusion and pain.
However, I do feel that if you keep your focus on trying to find answers
inside, you will be better off using the help you can receive at this
level. Once you are into the medical system in total, you are pretty
much going to end up staying with that, if you can learn to calm and
slow the mind down, and not go into what you call the lucid dreaming
while awake, you may be able to get a handle on what is happening and
work your way out of it. You do seem to magnify it with your thoughts
and fears.

You didn't say specifically if you were having kundalini experiences
such as light, etc, or just the ongoing mind trips? Most likely
kundalini is not pure and causing that rambling which seems to be out of
control. Have you ever had the experience of quieting yourself? Were you
hyperactive as a child, you are probably far above normal in
intelligence, which may well be kundalini eruptions to part of the
brain.

I did find your story very interesting and passed it on to a friend
who's son is bi-polar, do you take any of the medicine you were given?
Are you able to focus enough to work? My friends son seems to do fine
when he is on the medicine although he doesn't like it either, I passed
your story on because of the intensity that comes through your words
which I believe will be helpful for her family to get a look into what
is going on in the mind.

I do recommend anyone trying to understand the chemical imbalance with
bi-polar to read your story since you have presented an excellent part
of your experience to help people relate to the process. The thing is
that if kundalini is responsible, it is consciousness so it could stop
as quickly as it started. It may be just a crisis time your going
through. Gloria

I am a 50 year old Oregon massage therapist who continues to expand the
amount of kundalini energy I run. I have been running it in fits and starts
for years. I am finally learning to trust myself and energy enough to allow
it to run.

I am not sure when I first learned to identify this powerful energy surge as
kundalini. Over the last eight years the awareness has gradually seeped in
that this is a useful way to describe what happens to me, these moments of
incredible power, often bliss, twitching, moving, moments of great clarity,
where I see and understand the love within and around me. Places where I can
touch others and transform them and myself.

I think it first happened with a lover, though not while we were making love
physically, but when we were sitting together in great peace and joy. I have
also found this place over the years worshiping with unprogrammed Friends
[Quakers] in silence.

The place always feels like an incredibly strong force pouring through me,
more than I can contain sometimes, and that makes the twitching, writhing, I
think. Often intense emotions come with it, grief, joy, bliss...

I am initiated in Reiki, two degrees, and I often find kundalini rising in
that healing work.

It often has a very strong senual feel in me. Does that happen to everyone?
I also find it in love making. It comes when I dance, when I sing, chant,
when I share ritual. It comes when I sit in meditation.
I lose it by shutting down my grounding, my most common fear reaction. The
cut cord snaps up into my head where I stay till I notice that I'm cut off
again.
What has changed/is changing in your life?
Ah, Lady, what isn't? This last week I felt myself finally step through a
lifelong set of insecurities into a place where I absolutely love myself,
and will not sacrifice me to others needs/desires. It was amazingly simple
and painless. I just stopped doing what I was doing and did something
different. I am grateful. I expect my life to continue to change in this way.
Do you have any particular practices that you have found helpful? Things
that let it in and let it out; things to enhance the flow: Singing, dancing,
loving, meditating, healing, massaging, listening...
Probably it is a case of
 "Before right practice, cutting wood and hauling water;
After right practice, cutting wood and hauling water."

Or to put it another way, I see us as body (many kinds) and Spirit (one
kind) and the body's purpose is to be a series of sphincters for Spirit, and
to get them to open together so that Spirit flows through; perhaps my job is
to be God/dess' voice but I may just as likely be the Holy asshole.
Have I offended people? I hope not.
Are you involved in any service to others?
Healing. Massage. Energy work. Singing, making music. Listening. I
often work at a hot springs healing resort in our area where I get to
combine energy work and psychic reading with massage. I see myself as a
power chord, plugged into Spirit on one end, and the person on my table on
the other; making available to them whatever they can use.
What are you hoping to get out of this list?
Insights, tools, friends, sharing those with fellow travelers.
Blessed be,
Barbara

Dear Friends,

About ten days ago, we offered a free book, THE SHAPE OF
EVENTS TO COME, and a number of magazine and newspaper articles
on Kundalini as well as some pamphlets also on the same subject.

We were swamped with requests and have almost exhausted our
stock of the book. However, we have ample supplies of the
articles and some of the pamphlets, because we can Xerox them
ourselves. Reprint a book, of course, takes longer.

So the offer for the articles--about one dozen of them--and
a pamphlet, entitled LIVING WITH KUNDALINI, are still available
FREE to anyone who leaves his or her name with us >gkiefferATnospamnetaxis.com<

These articles and pamphlets are quite interesting to say the
least and cover a lot of different aspects of Kundalini that you
may not run across elsewhere. So just let us have your mailing
address, and we will be happy to send them without charge--even
overseas, by airmail.

Our sole insterest is to help make the knowledge of Kundalini
widely known.

Sincerely,
Gene and the K. R. F.

What a wonderful letter. You sound like a together person and very nice. I
love your humor and earthiness. Yes K is very sensual and we are sensual
beings when we allow ourselves to love life and stay connected to our
grounding sources. This was a good teaching you shaqred from your own
experiences. Thank you,

Yes, I am published, in a way. My husband got 100 copies printed for me. That
was way too expensive. It is really a galley copy and after editing, the next
copy will look even better. I am selling to friends and I even have some in
YES bookstore in downtown DC. I have been taking a bunch of computer classes
to learn more about desk top publishing, but that takes time from my writing.
I really need to get a regular publisher soon.
My book is called "Loved by the Light." Sometimes I get orders from people on
the list and from the "Shared Transformations" newsletter. They printed an
excerpt from the Light experience section which just came out in December.

Hi Christine,
I experienced my heart opening up so much so that I Iiterally expanded
into another dimension of awareness. Because it was so different and
wonderful, what I absorbed stayed with me and helped me to understand a lot of
things I had not known before. In this way of understanding was I enlightened.
The wisdom that comes from that much love has a way of soaking up, so to
speak, much more than your normal senses usually can perceive. I liken it to
the kind of focus you can get with a lazer.
My faith and love for our Creator was the vehilcle for this
transformation.

Let us not be so quick to judge and respond more lovingly always.
All of our experience is Love, and the call for Love.
It is not always so easy to see.

Harsha writes: The practice of meditation gradually refines our intellect and
our emotions. People on the spiritual path develop a fine sensitivity; both to
the pain of others and their own. Such senstivity only indicates that the
mind is being purified. The Yoga Shastras put the principle of non-violence
as the highest principle. The practice of non-violence and love towards others
allows us the freedom to practice non-violence and love towards ourselves.
When we love ourself and accept ourself we can surrender unconditionally to
the Divine. In complete acceptance we become Whole and realize the Truth of
Reality that which We Are.
