Dan, that has to be the saddest statement I have heard from anybody for a very
long time, whether referring to kundalini or anything else. Living is learning
and loving. How can you ever stop learning unless you deliberately block
yourself off?
Open your mind, Dan, then your heart will follow!

Blessings through the gloom,

Do you have something to teach me? I'm listening. Most people on
the list just argue with each other about things they will never agree on
or have trouble agreeing on. Nobody teaches much.

 Hello everyone,

As one of my resolutions is to do less procrastinating, I will introduce
myself on this, my first day on this list. My name is Orea, I am 43,
been married 23 years, have a daughter who will be 21 this month and a
son who turns 15 this month. I live in northern Virginia.

I have been spiritually oriented all of my life, and am seeking here
more information on the kundalini energy, developing it, harnessing it
or guiding it in a positive manner...oh, I don't feel I am expressing
this well. I seek balance, information, and tools.

I seek understanding, some of it retroactive as things have been
happening for years that I only partially understand. One of the best
decisions I have made, in this regard, was to dispense with doubts and
intellectualizations for the most part, and just let things happen, and
learn from what is put before me. This has taken me to some interesting
places and perspectives.
I can't say for sure when the k awoke in me, but I am told that it was
when I was about six. I am working on acquiring and improving skills
such as grounding, etc. , but frankly I feel pretty ignorant at this
point.

My major form of service at this point in my life is donating
platelets. It takes about 3 hours of my time and I try to do it as
often as I am eligible, which is every 15 days. Words cannot convey how
very gratifying it is to me to be able to give a gift that is so very
important to the recipient. I truly feel honored to be able to do
this. (And the cookies aren't bad, either!) ;-)

My sister Blythe has been forwarding k-list nuggets and gems for several
months, and I have read them with interest. I look forward to learning
with you.

Blessings,

Orea

Hello dear list readers,

If some of you thinks the following is off topic, feel free to reply to
me in email; but i think this is related to Kundalini awakening very
much.

Since a lot of years i have been stuck with some kind of a problem.
During the day, i am able to put myself in alpha position awake and can
connect to the other side quite effectively. No need to talk about
meditation times. During night this is another story, and i really hope
someone will be able to help.

After a long day, when i put myself to bed, i always begin by a little
spiritual stuff. When my body is tired of the day, i receive flashes,
on a regular basis. Like if i was standing in a metro station waiting
for the next metro. I _know_ the flashes are the metro. When a flash come
i have two choices:
 1. Stay where i am.
 2. Take the metro.
...Stay where i am need efforts, as the flash seems to suck me up very
strong. When tired, i am not able to resist more than a few flashes.
Taking the metro is incredible, something like a booster very very
powerful; so much powerful i lost conscience. And this is my problem.
It tooks me through... well, i can't find words. If anybody sees the
tv serie "Sliders", this is what is happening to me, just like when
the characters in the serie slides to another world.
When i get conscience again, i am sometimes able to keep the "dream" up
a certain time, sometimes not. But anyway i always take the story in the
middle :-( For those who mind, it is sometimes interactive.

I would like to stay conscient at the metro travel so i could have the
whole story! _PLEASE_ if someone can help in anyway: i beg you to tell me.
I have this problem since more than 20 years.

...and, is this too much to ask to explain me how to decide of the
destination of the metro?!? ...As there are places i have been where
i would like very much to go back! :-))

If someone answers, please send me an email copy, as my mail list pointer is
actually on 15 of december :-)

Namaste',
Laurent.

Hello list readers,

A few weeks ago a few of you talked about a book "Extended sexual
orgams" of Alan & Dona Brauer. I haven't found this book translated
in my native language and does not have money to buy books from over
the ocean right now so, i was wondering if some people would be kind
to send me by email exercices i could practice with my girlfriend as
explained in the book...

If there is people round here that want to make a couple of people on
earth happy, my girlfriend and me would love to test :-)
We seems both have K.A., though her is quite recent. I recognised in her
awakening each of the symptoms i had.

Laurent.

No mercy, Daniel. The sympathy ploy doesn't work for me.
When does anyone ever learn all they can ?
I speak only for myself. What did you expect after joining a
specialized Newsgroup and then throwing everything that we believe
back in our faces.
I can't think of a single listmember who couldn't run circles around
the theories you imply after learning everything.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

Dan,

"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
If you are not learning, ask yourself, "Am I ready?"

Not all teachers lecture.
Some wait to be asked.
If you have something you need to know, ask.
If you have nothing you need to know, why worry?
If you don't know what it is you need to know,
Then perhaps you are not ready to learn it yet.

All of us learn in our own ways,
And in our own time.
What to you is pointless arguing
Is to some an amusing distraction
And to still others the stuff of learning.

Seek for your own fountains of knowledge,
Wherever they may be.
But do not proclaim a fountain dry,
Just because you get no water from it.
That which parches your tongue
May quench the thirst of your neighbor.

- Mike

Thank you for your refreshing encouragement.
I will relate the last of my theories to the list and take my
leave unless something strikes my fancy to stay for.
I thirst for a well of a different flavor.

Please, Jack, I prefer silent detachment to voiced detachment or
anger. If you are angry with me, I don't know how I have wronged you nor
how to make ammends. Forgive my arrogence, as I am yet young.

Yes, that is consistent with my experience as well. I was just poking
around on the internet the day that my first really strong experience
occurred and veritably stumbled across "Kundalini awakening"...and the
"symptoms" were familiar.

You seem to imply that someone's supposed to do it all FOR you. The best
teachers, I've found, don't just pour some sort of learning into our heads.
It's more like leading us to places (of the mind or spirit) where we can
find what we seek. Sometimes they merely remind us what we once knew, but
have forgotten. Always, however, our participation--active--is required.
Unless we do what it takes to follow their lead, we learn nothing.

What have you been doing to try to learn?

An interesting story from China about science and psychic healing.
The story indicates the healing and transmutational powers of CHI

I did not mean to imply that. I just mean more effort on the part
of the list to help each other would be beneficial.

> What have you been doing to try to learn?
I talk to professors and graduate students. Talking is more
efficient than email for teaching. I have not found a spiritual guru to
my liking yet, but I have not searched strongly enough, so I merely accept
life as the guru.
