My Dear Friend Mike,

I am only an hour and one-half from Portland.
I suffer from the relentless pain of shame, alienation, and separation from
my Self. Would this challange be of interest to you?

Sincerely Seeking,
Ken

dear kundalini-list,
i cannot help but notice how many people on this list are DEMANDING
personal attention, & punishing people who try to point the
responsibility towards the seeker.
i don't even care to read these long personal diatribes of
self-afflictions - and defenses of them, thereof. yes, i feel sorry for
everyone who is in pain, or diagnosed with diseases, but would prefer if
they would *get up off their crutches & walk*.
nobody can help anybody except to listen, each person & soul is
responsible for itself. it is a short life, & each soul's power lies
*within*. please stop trying to dump on other people!
personally, i hesitate to post any concerns on here, because of the
*emergency urgency* of the help needed by these samesaid folk. i am
curious & could benefit from a common acknowledgement of what is
'kundalini' experience in people's lives, at this level. i cannot
afford the time or energy needed to backtrack & allow 'psychic
vampirization', as i have my *own* crisises.
might i suggest these afore-mentioned personalities first try a
'personal therapy' channel before they are ready to embark upon
'kundalini'? it would save them & all us *others* the grief of trying to
relate & not still be victimized by their ensueing *black holes of
grief*,
i don't mean to seem heartless, but *some people* need to broaden
their awareness of the relative proportion of *pain*. we ALL have some
sort of *pain* - greater or lesser.
the 'prima donnas' are in another sort of *pain* beyond the help of
this list, imho.
reading this endless dribble just makes me want to move on & look
elsewhere...
anyone wanna hear MY *sad story*?
   i gotta million of 'em!

Valerian,

By all means, you may wish to read some of the Edgar Cayce material,
especially 'The Story of Jesus', Jeffrey Furst, ed. Berkley, ISBN
0-425-1027-7. Or perhaps you may wish to read more of the Essene religion
in 'The Gnostic Gospels, Elaine Pagels, Vintage Books, ISBN 0-679-72453-2
and also 'Gnosis, The Nature & History of Gnosticism' by Kurt Rudolph,
Harper Collins ISBN 0-06-067018-5. There is so much information out there
that one can readily find books available for research into these areas.
Sometimes the truth lies closer to the surface than we chose to believe.

Steve, I would be happy to talk to you privately by E mail,
however, I definitely wont "open up" on this K. area. I just dont feel
comfortable with some of the "energies" around here. Hope that's okay
with you. Email me any time, and I would be happy to share with you.
If you feel comfortable with your deepest feelings on here,
by all means, share with us, and hopefully we can all help by listening and
comforting.

Hello Thomas,

I didn't want to answer this one. But if I want to rest in piece tonight
I have to....

The best place to find your answer is buy asking the Christ Himself, as
the fire burns in you, you'll come to ear the answer, in time.

Please tell me when you do,

I'm also curious about it... :-)

Dear Kelley...Before it was anger and ire.. now it has evolved to
paranoia...

I like the way you describe the grey people. I have always thought they
were rather benevolent, but like you said, they scare the crap outta
people. I started reading Whitley Streiber's "Communion" a few years
ago. One night reading it, I looked up and swore one of them creatures
was going to suddenly walk through my bedroom door! I threw the book
across the room in fear and never picked it up to read again.

Thank you for sharing. It's good to know what is going on, even though
"what is going on" is just a metaphor so we can understand.

Yes, you do come off seeming heartless, but if you ever need a
sympathetic ear feel free to post. It's lonely out there when kundalini
causes upset or loss or confusion, and no one understands like other
who've ben there too.

Check out "Hands of Light", by Barbara Ann Brennan. It is really quite a
textbook for the auras and chakras. There are some good color pictures
in it, too. You can access her website from my home page below.Jason

Denial and acceptance.
Let us say kundalini is always present. The Holy Spirit always everywhere. The Goddess
eternal.
Deny?
Accept?
If we let a little light shine, do we not want to accept more of it?
Love is the capacity to bear pain.
Pain is lack of Love.
The spiritual perspective is Submission or acceptance of Divine Will. The immature
wishes to restrict the Divine to personal will.
As a meditation, put all your pain and grief into a Shining Chalice. Offer it to the
Spirit. Keep this up as required.
The cup is drunk . . .

Most Kind Regards

Hello friends,

>TRUTH already, but unconventional it is! please, PROVE it!

The books by Paramhansa Yogananda also draw so many parallels between
Christian spiritual Truths and the Indian spritual Truths, and he too, in
his books
has supported the theory of Jesus Christ having received training in
yoga and
other aspects of religion.

The story of the deluge, the big fish, and there are also a lot of
similarity in the
situation of the birth of Christ and the birth of Krishna. (Have been
fascinated
by the similarity in the names as well :-).

The fact that this religion is called Christianity and not
"Jesusism" is because,
as already has been said, it is a path. Jesus was a man. Christ was God
incarnate,
and had all the powers of "miracles", the same as those attributed to
any of the
other enlightened Indian yogis. Christ consciousness is what is known in
India as
Krishna Consciousness.

Apparently the aspect of the seven steps to heaven is interpretted as the
seven
energy centers of the subtle body.

Cheers and love to all
Ashanka

PROOF REQUIRED

A man shopping in a supermarket brought his purchase of two cans of dog
food to the checkout counter.

The cashier asked, "Sir, do you have a dog?"

"Yes." replied the man.

"Well, where is it?" asked the cashier.

"I left him home." he answered.

"Sorry," the cashier said, "You can't buy the dog food if I can't see
the dog. That's the rules."

The next day he returned to the store and brought some cat food to the
checkout. "Do you have a cat?" asked the cashier. "Yes," he said, "but I
left him home."

"Sorry," she said, "If I can't see the cat, I can't sell you the food.
That's the rules."

The next day the man walked into the store with a brown paper bag. He
walked up to the cashier and said, "Here. Put your hand in here."

The cashier put her hand in and said, "It's soft and warm. What is it?"

The man replied, "I'd like three rolls of toilet paper!"

TRAIN FAILURE

A large two engined train was crossing America. After they had gone
some distance one of the engines broke down. "No problem," the engineer
thought, and carried on at half power.

Farther on down the line, the other engine broke down, and the train
came to a standstill.

The engineer decided he should inform the passengers about why the
train had stopped, and made the following announcement:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad
news is that both engines have failed, and we will be stuck here for
some time. The good news is that you decided to take the train and not
fly."
