Hi,
We are probably running into a word disagreement, when I say observe,
detach without judgement...you see how thought and emotion work together
to create life situations. By pulling back you observe the thought, by
not feeding the thought or emotion the energy just drains away and the
situation clears up. It can also be explained when you pull back the
light comes in to work transformation. Gloria

Your story about suddenly not having to work was marvelous -- and
familiar. Unexpected resources came my way when I knew I had to create
much, much more solitary time for myself. It helped that I also lost
all desire to buy things! Getting past the guilt of not having to work
all the time has been a major spiritual lesson for me, mostly anxiety
about not being loveable if I'm not performing at a high level of
worldly achievement. Facing unstructured, anonymous time has been one
of the most difficult, and rewarding, spiritual tasks I've ever

I listen to Dr. Laura and also to Dr. Joy Browne. Dr. Laura specializes
on the third dimension situations extremely well. But that in no way is
the be all and end all of all issues.
I found Dr. Joy Browne coming from the heart more and trying to connect
the head and the heart. This is another phase.
We get sick, and go to see the Family Physician but in many cases we are
referred to specialists in various areas.
I do not object to what you opine. Your perspective may not be same as
mine, I may beg to differ, and that in no way I am wrong or you are
wrong.
In the transitional phases we all need to have self discipline, and when
we have transformed ourselves only then the realization comes. Even
after realization our thoughts, ego-consciosuness, our emotional
consciousness need to express through the filters of our memories and
the physical bodies conditioned by our DNA, and many a time our
discerning faculties go to sleep. That's when we find ourselves in
puddles. But inner strength and realizations do help immensely in our
march forward.
Instead of reaction I use response, as long we have to live in three
dimensions we have to have moral ethics otherwise our social structure
would fall apart and chaos would come. It is true what Gloria shares,
I can understand her viewpoint with clarity. It is my belief or
understanding that we may get away with wrongdoings if we not caught, in
this three dimensionalworld, but there is no getting away with our
wrondoings in the spiritworld. The law of causation is very strict and
to the letter of the law itself.
I strongly agree with Gloria's thoughts.

There is a difference between right and wrong.
It is not simply that doing right is what you prefer. Many people are seduced by the
idea of doing whatever they like. A child learns to not pick up fire, not eat
everything availble, not to lash out at others and so on. So too there are similar
sign-posts for the adult attempting evolution.
Spiritual maturity is very much about recognizing where you are; knowing that there are
certain qualities that you may embody (through choice). In the initial phase we will be
concerned with ourself. This self is not the God or Goddess. It is within the domain of
God or Goddess but is part of the separation that gives us freewill. The price of this
freedom is duality. The manifestation of duality is seen in good and evil. It is true
and it is a great Truth that *Ultimately* all is One but that does not mean that if
something is subjectively good it is ultimately good. 'I like it therefore it is good',
is childish (not child like). Let us take a simple example - 'this medicine is
unpleasant', I prefer this sweety' The patient dies. Now sometimes the medicine is sweet
and the patient says 'I love this - please can I have more' - if more is given the
patient may also die. The important thing is to develop the capacity to know what is of
value. To dismiss the spurious in both ourselves and others. This is very hard because
people sometimes provide good advice, sometimes bad or they are developed in some areas
and undeveloped in others. It is for this reason that we engage in study with a guide,
if we can find one. Most people are so confident of their aptitude, so arrogant in their
blind fumblings that they would not care to admit they are not sure of the destination
or the means of travel. If you are happy to be like this - God Bless You - Travel safely
. . .
One realizes that one is served through ones service. Those individuals who move
towards the ego, with complete abandon, are not engaged in spirituality. They will
become diverse and interesting people, that is for sure. If you want or need
stimulation and diversity, fine, do not confuse such activity for anything higher.
The idea that everyone has their own path to travel, concerns the means not the way.
Kundalani energy provides an upsurge in peoples spirituality. If it happened
spontaneously, you may not be prepared for the ethical and moral responsibilities that
goes with it. If you are in the situation of just having to cope, please know that
everything is OK. You will be given guidance and help if you ask for it sincerely. It
may not seem like advice. It may even shock or unnerve you but then if you learn to
follow your Heart and Trust in Goddess, nothing will hurt you that will not eventually
exhalt you.

I see life as the teacher and while it is nice to know from inside what
is right for us because of listening within, it is still hard for folks
out there who are dealing with things from trial and error.
I have compassion for those who call into Dr. Laura and for her also
because she may have the right answers but it often comes from that
human spot of self rightousness, yet she is making an impact on society.
So, God uses all on every level doesn't he/she? It does all come out in
the wash. We are very blessed to be alive and participants in this hour.

Your post is full of clarity. Spirituality involves the integration of
the ego. Ego centric view is localized to the person only, just like
when you are on the you would have view of the landscape from horizon to
horizon.
The ego limits our vision, our potentials,our understanding, our

Forgive me for taking this out of context, but I have moved more toward
spirituality as I have learned to develop a stronger, healthier ego. In the
yoga I learned, my spiritual quest requires that I develop my body, mind and
spirit in balance and holistically. To be merely spiritual was not enough,
not balanced.

I have started my masters program at Atlantic University in Virginia
Beach. The area is visual arts - the transpersonal approach.
Tuesday (9-23-97), my art teacher explained that what I was seeing was
prana. I would like to believe him; however, it doesn't feel right.
Please help me out.
Have you ever seen a television set on a channel with no station
broadcasting there. It looks like a screen full of black and white bees
all pissed off. Some patterns of swirling bees and such.
This what I see. I see this with my eyes closed or open. Like grainy
photographic film. This doesn't interfere with my visual perception.
If this is seeing prana, can I refine it or tune it or use it for the
good in helping people or myself? Now, I can't make any sense of what I
see. Is this due to my kundalini? If so is it in my sixth chakra?
I am looking forward to hearing from my friends on the list.
