Yes, you can also try to go deeper into the isues around your neck
blockage. You can try an experiential metrhod to uncover in non- intrusive way what
is there. I highly recomend you what is called "Holotropic Breathwork"

Hello list members!
I have some questions I hope someone can help me with. I recently
purchased to wonderful pieces of Kyanite. I have been forever having problems with my throat chakra. I have a feeling it is blocked. There
are times when I just cannot say the proper words. I stammer and can't get things out. I get flustered etc.. I have suspected for a long time
that this chakra is blocked. I also believe because I can't wear anything directly on my neck. It is extremely uncomfortable, that there
is something going on with this chakra. I do believe maybe in a past life also I had been choked, hanged or have had some serious trauma to
my neck.
Anyway, I have been doing some meditation with the Kyanite on my throat. I have noticed that my voice is getting deeper. I am concerned about
this. Does anyone have a good method to cleanse and open this chakra with the Kyanite? Is this unusual for one's voice to deepen? I have no
idea if I am doing this correctly. Is there another way that I should be using to handle this chakra? Any a suggestions would be wonderful. Thank
you all ! Love and light
Pamela

Are you suggesting that those on the list are sheep? On the contrary, I thought everyone seemed to question many things and invite different views
and opinions as well. The list is diverse, with many in different stages of K , but everyone seems to have a mind of their own and for the most part,
people seem to *agree to disagree* without hard feelings.
Flame away Phil -- I feel sure your ego can't resist telling yet another person that they too are wrong. Take care though, sooner or later you'll
burn yourself.

>Love and light >Pamela
> Hi Pamela,
Working with a chakra in isolation from the whole is not always a good
idea as it may swop one problem or imbalance for another.....
think of your spiritual development as being like a tree blossoming, you draw on deep roots sunk into the earth of the subconscius and the
past....you absorb sunlight and oxygen and water and sap.....everything has to arise naturally and in harmony with your spiritual momentum in
life...
the throat chakra is associated with pure sound, profound listening within and without, mantra, secret understanding and the gateway to the
cosmic worlds of the head chakras, the conch held to the ear of the yogi is a useful image...
in some ways, moving up from heart to throat chakras is the beginnng of
esoteric understanding as opposed to conventional spiritual understanding simply manifesting in love and morality etc.
so these problems could be linked to this subtle development in your
journey and a sign that it might helpto go deeper inside and cooperate with this sometimes very strange process which can defy all our
commonsense and rational assumptions about life ....
a sense of being strangled, of problems talking, of problems swallowing and of a feeling of pressure on the neck is not unusual when the throat
opens, and this can last a while - mine went on for a few months until i didn't want to talk to anyone...and sometimes quite literally couldn't
even open my mouth, which caused some interesting situations in a busy office where my voice was needed often.......
using mantra without a spiritual teacher can have its drawbacks
especially if you have no previous practice in mantra or yantra or visualisation
if the shakti is moving up towards the head chakras, in classical
kundalini yoga one really needs to establish a new spiritual foundation to one's understanding, as the old one that has seen you through the
anahata and the three lower chakras is no longer suitable for the esoteric worlds of the throat and beyond....
you may find that mystical teachings now make a lot more sense
you may even feel an urge to write insights and experiences down, your
karmic interpretation of the strangling sensation might be worth examining on paper simply for therapeutic purposes....
you may become very sensitive to sound and music, enjoy this
this can work well with the process of listening to life very deeply....
the throat chakra is also connected to the thyroid gland which is, i
believe, crucial in the hormonal changes brought about during puberty....
so may be worth noting any changes in bodily chemistry, however
subtle...
this "block" will most likely pass in time and you will look back and wonder what all the fuss was about....
good luck, and welcome to the world of secret mantra....Yogi Tom

Dear John......... Ahhhh...but they did...my point exactly.......when you are
sure you know everything.....or think you know much....you don't really......... I will be happy to tell you the book..I did mention it in my first letter:
Title: The Rosicrucian Cosmo-Conception
Author: Max Heindel: renewed 1937 by Mrs. Max Heindel Copywrite by: The Rosicrucian Fellowship, 1973
Publishers: Wood & Jones, Pasadena California First printing: May, 1909
My quote about it being impossible for Caucasions to "feel the energy Flow"
was from Chapter 12: The method of aquiring first-hand knowledge, pg. 438
I bought the book at an introductory meeting into the Roscrucians...which I
did not follow up.....here is another interesting paragraph from the book's introduction:
"The western world is undoubtedly the vanguard of the human race, and for
reasons given in the following pages, it is held by the Rosicrucian that neither Judaism nor popular Christianity but "TRUE" esoteric Christianity is
to be its world religion. Buddha, great, grand and sublime may be the Light of Asia, but Christ will yet be acknowledged the Light of the World.......in
the not too distant future the true religion of Christ will supersede and obliterate all other religions, to the eternal benefit of mankind............."

Do not be sad Kundalites
Do not be bad Kundalites The Goddess carries a sword
and it is the healing balm
Battle against or together? All is the Dance of the Goddess. However for the Gentle Souls:
Look at my fist
It is closed and hard I hold it aloft - hard and fierce
The fist opens - the hand revealed And Love is all around
The Goddess walks with us in us
Her hands and arms embrace herself
and we are Goddess and God unified

God Bless Most Kind Regards

Hi Pamela, You want advice about your throat...The first thing I would do is go to
a throat nose and ears doctor to see if you dont have nodes in your vocal chords, I am a singer so I know about that. I believe that getting
that out of the way then you can proceed to find a regression therapyst to take you back in time, maybe you have trauma from another lifetime or
at birth. But if you say that your voice is deepening see the doctor first... do you smoke by any chance?
Hope to be of service to you. Love and light,

Have read and reread this and seems to confirm the core meaning of my own experience in confronting madness of history although i was more of
a spectator on these things, not so much a victim, even if i did get baked in the end.....
if anyone's interested in a little intellectual research, i spent a long
time looking into Pol Pot in Cambodia, Stalin in the Soviet Union, Hitler in Europe and colonialism and slavery in Africa and the Caribbean
looking for some kind of causal chains and themes...
the closest i came to finding a coherent intellectual analysis of these disasters was The Dialectics of Disaster - A Preface To Hope (published
by Verso of London 1983) by Ronald Aaronson, a US academic, which is a profound and sophisticated Marxist inspired analysis of 20th century
history...he is, I believe, Jewish, but does not limit himself to using Holocaust for the German Holocaust, but also for the Soviet Holocaust
under Stalin.
He also talks about the "bourgeois-democratic holocaust" of Vietnam....and is not unsympathetic to the plight of the palestinians in
the Middle East.
but even this fell apart in the end as materialistic analysis of materialistic disorders proved altogether too simple....and saw
limitations of materialistic solutions too....
but some shared themes such as the need for the collective and whole to connect and harmonise....even if not in a Marxist or solely
materialistic sense....
here's a life affirming quote that Aaronson ends his book on - it has a relevance to themes we're talking about on the list which is probably
unintended.....
"There are after all, many reasons for joy. Our own self-empowerment, our learning to appreciate each half-step to victory, our experiencing
the depth and the richness of the WE...We wish it were not so, but today the commitment to sanity, to truth, to humanity, to survival, means
doing battle. Accordingly, we must learn to cultivate the pleasures of collective action."
