Kari -
This sort of thing has been talked about here on this list from time to
time. I see these faces too. I see them in my own face when I look in the
mirror and I've seen them while looking at other people. I'm not really
sure what to think of them. For instance, when seeing these while looking
at sombody else I don't know whether I'm seeing some other aspect of them
or some other aspect of me which I'm projecting onto their face (like a
movie projector showing a movie on a blank screen). Since I view the
universe as one being it doesn't ultimately really matter very much to me.
But it is sort of fun. It can be amusing to suddenly find yourself shaving
someone else's face. I'm serious, it happens occasionally!

You mentioned that you dont recommend melatonin, I have been taking if
for 2 years now and I feel great, I had very safe k awakening, I just
take 1 milligram istead of 3 as most people. Why do you consider it
unsafe?

Hello,
My name is Chester; I will be 45 this month; I'm married with 3 children and I
live in Minnesota. I'll try to keep this short.
My wife and I spoke to a psychic in June, just for fun, but my life seems to
have been changing ever since. The psychic suggested I investigate the
chakras. My wife is a great reader and I found a few books written by Shirley
MacLaine on the subject.
What has changed:
1. painting has become my obsession, something I've never done
2. I actually feel something flow from my head down through me when I even
casually think of God
3. I'm sleeping more than I have in years
4. Something that I have recently noticed is that the tingle in my head I
would feel after meditating on the colors of the chakras has increased
to a deep, enveloping "something" that feels wonderful, from head to
toe.
5. On occasion, with both eyes open, I am seeing separately with each eye
6. When I mediate in a dimly lit room smoke seems to surround me;
so much the first time I thought something was on fire.
7. When I am meditating, seeing all kinds of neat things, if I think of God
everything stops
8. While at the bookstore looking for books on the chakras I first
discovered kundalini from the best book I have found on the subject,
Kundalini and the Chakras, by Genevieve Lewis Paulson.
Questions:
1. Where am I going? What is happening? What should I do?
2. I can't find time for extended meditation so I meditate briefly, and
often, throughout the day. Okay? Not okay?
3. Meditation: eyes open or closed? On what should I focus?
4. I am becoming increasingly aware of my crown chakra and my spine. When I
meditate on the colors of the chakras I think of orange, yellow, green,
blue, indigo, red and white, okay?
5. Any thoughts on OBE -- how to?
6. Any thoughts on remote viewing?
Even though I have just begun, my life is changing. I'm not too sure where I
am going or how to procede. After having read much of the kundalini e-mail I
have come to respect your opinions. This is a lot, I know, but as a novice I
would appreciate any thoughts or guidance.

In my opinion, they are not necessarily previous incarnations
and thats why I call it "stupid siddhi". My sister see these
faces too; when she stares at me, she may see for example ten
european males from *same epoch*: they all cant be my previous
incarnations. Sometimes she sees only Indian/tibetan males.
I see her always as a negro or australian aborginal (she
is "in reality" blond skandinavian). Once I saw her as a ape..
But if they are not incarnations, what they are and
how this siddhi works?! Patanjali does not mention it,
which bothers me. :-)

Lisette, NDE is just a shorthand for "near-death-experience",
someone who has been clinically dead and then revived or otherwise
brought back. With modern medical technology this is an increasing group
of people. It has always been part of a traditional shamanic transition.
The people who return often have a different ability or perception,
although this new ability often takes years to manifest fully.

Have you seen it as you look in the mirror at yourself. I did
this and was surprised when after staring for awhile my features
changed and I looked elvish, I was told that sometimes our
past lives can surface by doing this.

just as an aside,
there is a good movie with Ellen Burstyn (who is a pretty
spiritual person, I hear, into Sufism) called 'Resurrection',
available at video rental stores.
it's about a woman who experiences NDE, then acquires healing power.
Some very moving scenes. Very well done. Very prescient.
Would go well with the movie 'Fearless' with Jeff Bridges.
There was a recent FoxTV movie about Dannion Brinkley's NDE
story that I happened to catch, forget the name, pretty good.
Look for any movie with Ellen Burstyn, it's sure to have some
Power in it. Even the 'Exorcist', one of my all-time favorites,
I always cheer for the priests in the bedroom scene.

have experienced that many times. You perhaps could take into
account the collective consciousness of the human race and God's
grand design of the proportions of the human body through eternity.
Man invented Microsoft Windows and it is a program so standard.
Cetainly, the communication of souls face to face follows this principle.
Seeing a face in front of you always has become a time worn
archetype that is etched from billions of repetitions one could never
erase or delete! You as part of the grand design and without
separation are bound to have the ability top toggle the infinite
number of faces before you. Any emotion can serve as a pointer
(like your PC mouse) and the corresponding face from any space
time continuum will manifest. The search most people are probably
accustomed to are in the random setting and you get these faces in the
sequence provided or if you are unified or more aware, you could
make the selection with your concentrative powers and access anyone
person/face you desire. Because the selection is endless, it would
do you good productive-wise, to KNOW what you are seeking.
We are in the Age where it is NOT A STUPID QUESTION to
be inqusiitve. If our forefathers had been more ready to question these
things as we are doing this very instant, we'd have come a long way
and reach the stars and converse with other planets by now!
God sends us prophests so often that the earth is QUICKENED and
a new age is born with its wonderful inventions and advancements.
THIS IS THE AGE OF AWARENESS THAT WE HAVE A
KUNDALINI and the next age we all will realise hat all our kundalinis
are CONNECTED.
I am just a lurker and awaiting more kundalini for myself.
