Yes, yes. Shaktipat is tansmitted by resonance. Both the transmitter
and the receiver must be open to the manifestation of the divine
shakti. The transmitter identifies his mind with the sakti and
amplifies his resonance with it. Then he creates a link between his
aura and the aura of the receiver. If the two of them stand face to
face the transmitter can place his rigth hand with his fingers united
on the Ajna Chakra (mentan chakra) and his left hand on the
backheadof the receiving person. Then he visualises the emmision of
the shakti into the aura of his reciever.

There are two other things that must be kept in mind :

1. Before any initiation with mantras or other kind of shaktipat the
master (transmitter) must consacrate the fruits of his actions to God
otherwise he will make a lot of good karma for himself which will
make him reincarnate as a human to receive the fruits of his actions.
If the shaktipat is consacrated to God then God will be the one
supplying the energy and the transmitter will not loose his energies
at all. He will be able to transmit shaktipat to hundreds of people
all day long and not be tired at all. But if he does not consacrate
the fuits of his action to God (and receive the positive confirmation
from God that He approves of this action) then he will consume his
own energy.

2. When one transmits shaktipat he must have his heart (spirit) open
because if there is no union between the hearts of the transmiter and
receiver, there can be no shaktipat. When there is shaktipat the guru
takes 'home' in the heart of the disciple.
