Isn't that a great feeling when you know you are
among Brothers and Sisters of Similar Mind?
As I mentioned, I now love the writings of St.
Teresa, too, but when I first read her, it was
too filled with "I am a worm' and it was really
difficult for me to pick out valuable teachings
for my own Path.
The nice thing, I think, about the Tibetan Buddhists,
is that they put everything in outline form, making
it very logical and understandable. This way they
can take a highly mystical topic, like Light and
make it perfectly understandable.
After I understood the Path better in this way, I
was able to return to St. John of the Cross and
St. Teresa of Avila's writings and understand them.
Hugs,
Adele
