[K-list] Feathers and Spirits

Hello all,

just an observation I would like to share:

For some months now I have noticed that I see many more feathers whenever I take a walk downtown or in a park. These are paths and streets I have walked for years, but I cannot remember seeing so many feathers. In park areas, where there are many birds, I see heaps of them. But there are also single feathers on the streets where I don't think I have noticed a feather before. There was also a feather gliding down from somewhere above and touching my face, and a three-feather-ornament that sombody had stuck to a bush I was passing by.

I'm curious. Who else here has had similar incidents, and what form did they take?

Not long ago , I had received a message by feathers , and before in the past , of a feather that came to me in response to prayer . Once I had meditated while out in the wilderness and prayed To God for spiritual guidance . The following morning I awoke and went down to the waters edge to reflect on the previous nights meditation . As I sat on the shore and pondered , I noticed a feather on the water heading in my direction . It was quite a ways off , but the wind was strong . I thought , maybe I should go get it in the canoe , but chose not to . I thought , If it is meant for me , it will come right to me . My eyes were fixed on it , but then chose to shut my eyes and pray . I thanked God for hearing my prayers and found that the problems I was pondering over Did have a solution to overcoming them . As I sat on the rocky shore , on a flat rock that was beside the water , I felt like a great weight was lifted off me and thanked God again . As I then opened my teary eyes , I found that the goose feather had come to rest right in front of me .

As I just wrote that , I noticed an Angel ( Spark of White Light off to my left ) shine in front of me . Reminding me of thier ever present vidgil they have with us in our lifes journey , each and every life we choose to have in order to learn a new , or , old lesson we need in order to be closer to God . Now when I use the Word 'God' , I mean both Mother and Father God , not denoting either as they are Both one in each other as a Wholeness of Light and Love !

Other Times as I've helped souls that were lost , ( ghosts caused by murder or suicides ) that asked or accepted my help , have left me signs of thier cross over into the Light from wich everyone has come from , believe it or not . One soul I helped left the sign of her sucessful crossing by leaving on an old flash light that had been dead for over a year or two . Now there is no way possible for a battery ( dissposable battery ) to regain a charge no matter what! The next morning I saw a ligght on the wall beside were the flash light was sitting . And Lo and behold ! It Was ON! It stayed on for three days before it lost its charge . Thank you Lois , and Thank you God !

I have animal stuff coming to me constantly. Feathers. Skulls, entire animals, intact. Some are illeagle for me to have if you're not a Native American. As I do not kill them, but only find them - and keep them and have them at home in an honored way - I consider it my right to have their medicines in my home. I have attracted whole Great Horned Owls, different breeds of hawks; including the beautiful Red-tail Hawk (all of them whole, intact animals), Fox, Crow, Bluebird, Great Blue Heron (a whole wing) and too many others to list. Animals have always been teachers for me. They come in vision, dreams and as you can see from above, real life. My home is a sanctuary and has many Native type things all around. I also live out in farm and woodsy/mountain country, so that I am surrounded by wildlife. I have a beautiful relationship with the crows here, and there is a specific female hummingbird that goes out of her way to get my attention and chat with me. Love the communion with Nature! But the plants and trees and everything else has a lot to say as well... Blessings!

Generally speaking I've not had much in the way of Shamanistic experiences except in the early K years in dreams. (Then many many animal dreams). Almost nothing in wake time.

But as if to emphasize the feather thread, last night on my way to bed I was about to turn off a lamp and almost put my hand on a large incredibly beautiful grasshopper with brilliant red eyes and an almost translucent green body

I tried gently grab it to let it outside, and missed. It landed on my egg timer! which I then picked up. I asked it to stay put until I got it outside, which it did, and then watched it fly off.

I've had an influx of witnessing miracles everytime I step outside (and sometimes inside) The clouds that were forming yesterday were so magical, never thought they could blend and move that fast. It may have appeared a bit spooky, but it was so amazing. The other day I watched flocks of birds moving south, as if seeing it for the first time. How they danced, all moving as one, Walking to the store the other day I stopped short. I had never seen such red leaves on a tree. They were so bright, scarlet red!

Every time such miracles appear, often every day, it's as if the little problem computer suddenly just drops out. How a regular working day can be filled with such miracles, everywhere!

Thank you. And now walking in the park I find feathers - all shiny, beautiful and perfect with glints of sun light, moon light and star dust still on them.

I'll bet some birds fly very, very high. We just don't see them.

What a lovely happening! I found enormous red locusts or grasshoppers on my dad's farm in Africa. Amazingly beautiful creatures, at least four inches long.

As for feathers, I see feathers everywhere, on the ground. I have a very fine collection now. The first gift my partner gave me was an eagle feather from Kodiak. It wasn't until a long time later that I found out you could not keep eagle feathers...it's a federal offense, which is most unfortunate.

I've got other feathers that we have found. All kinds of feathers, from egret to hawk. Most walks out, I see feathers on the ground. I have no idea why I see so many feathers. But they are all over the place.
