Subject: dream

I wonder if this dream I had during a nap Saturday afternoon has some
message for me about Kundalini. I will give some basic highlights of the
dream and would like some possible interpretations of it. I think it
MUST say something about the K--it was the most striking dream I've ever
had.

In the beginning, I saw a black square-shaped UFO with bright blue
streaks coming from it. Turns out it was part of a hollographic air show
promotion for Exxon--there were other sights in it I saw as well--it was
awesome. Later, I'm in some building. Lots of tv screens broadcasting
some special show--don't remember what. Ultimately I get lost. I see a
warehouse section filled with computer paper. Feels eerie. I am trying
to get back to where I was--I notice a lower section of the building, and
figure I can find my way back from there. But the only way to it is this
conveyor belt. I get on it. It's electrical and is shocking me, low
grade. The shock is increasing as I ride--then I get to the bottom and
the thing stops. There are four very large circular objects in front of
it that somewhat resemble bundles of barbed wire. I know they are very
electrified and landing on one means certain death, yet the only way off
the conveyor belt is to jump across them. They are far too large--I
would never make the jump. So I am stuck on this belt that is continuing
to shock me, getting stronger and stronger all the time. I woke up
before I died in the dream, but that is certainly where it was
heading--death by slow and painful shock. It's the worst feeling dream I
have ever had, yet one of the most realistic feeling.

Anyone got a clue? I have a dream dictionary, but electric shock isn't
mentioned. I guess that's not too common!

Love to all, Melissa

The moon's gravity is so strong that it can directly affect the earth's oceans.
Full moon always has an effect on the tides. Humans are 98%(?) water, so it's
not surprising that we are pulled and pushed as the moon waxes and wanes.

I am affected every new/full moon. It is like a switch. If I am down the day
before then I'm up the day after and vise versa. Usually I notice the switch
and then realise, "Oh just another cycle" and it's back to normal.

Another thing I've noticed is that the two weeks from new-full is a fantastic
time for getting things done in the world; new business or start an assignment
or give any project a head start.

I thought your explanation of parasites very interesting and I will certainly
try a new diet next month. However, I was talking more of an increase in the
energy of the chakras (waves going through the body) than physical ailment.
More of that incandescent heat too. Maybe I didn't understand well what the
parasites do. Can you expand on what they are and what they look like?

Subject: fresh k topics

Hello to you all. I've enjoyed your posts. Would anyone care to discuss any
of the relevant k topics below?

What is the nature of the k energy?

what is the purpose of conciously raising this energy beyond where it
normally operates?

What is spiritual evolution and where does k fit in?

What is the difference, (if any) between kundalini, shakti, prana, and chi?

What are the structures associated with the kundalini, and what are their
functions?
           ie; the kanda
the ida and pingala nadis (spiritual nerves)
                other nadis
                 the chakras

How does the human microcosm relate the the cosmos, and where does
kundalini fit in?

How does psychic momentum (karma) fit into the equation?

There's plenty more to discuss. Btw... I'm no teacher. Just your friendly
catalyst.

*******

Kundalini fun facts to know and tell:

did you know......

1. When the kundalini resides in the anahat chakra (heart) all situations
and events that occur to you will be seen as neither 'good' nor 'bad' but
as events aiding your spiritual development. (sounds like the end of
suffering to me.)

2. When the kundalini resides in the visuddha chakra (throat) you will lose
awareness of the body and enter a lower level of samedi.

3. When the kundalini resides in the agni chakra (forehead) you will see
the All, but you will still be separate.

4. When the kundalini resides in the sahasrara chakra (crown) you will
experience nirvi-kalpa samedi or Nirvana. (no, not the grunge rock band).
You will remain individualized, yet be merged with the ALL, and have it's
perspective.(the perspective of GOD) At this point you can choose to remain
in the body and become a 'Jiva Mukta' (Samedhi while still in the body,
such as Sri Ramakrisha and Sri Aurobindo), or you can venture into 'Maha
Samedhi',the Great Samedhi, leaving the body, for the final merging with
the ALL.

****

Kundalini Humor (as told to me by a devout k practitioner)

The Kundalini Ashram has 3 sections:

front section: the beginners

middle section: the practitioners

rear section: the burnouts

what are burnouts? Ever try to drive a high voltage/amperage current down
some uninsulated, thin wires?

Martin,
Interesting post, actually I agree with what you wrote about the heart,
throat, third eye, and crown, only that is only the beginning of what
happens. Everything relating to the higher chakra's brings in higer
consciousness, detachment, insight and vision, and union. That is the goal,
to live through those higher chakra's and when ready to utilize the lower
chakra's for the express purpose of transformation. This is, and can be a
real experience for those willing to do the interior work, detaching, letting
go, and transformation. Gloria

Melissa,
My intuition says you were experiencing kundalini in the four lower centers
and you were aware that there was a death that comes along with it. That
really couldn't be more true, because it is the lower self that must die
which is what a death of self is. As far as seeing it as connected to a UFO,
that would mean to me you are out of your body, and in that capacity, you are
an unidentified flying object. The most important message in the dream is
that you have no choice now, you have to confront yourself. The question is
how?

What mediations are you doing? What do you understand about the four lower
centers? What is your connection and understanding of the heart center and
above? You can write me directly if you don't want this discussion on the
list. That was really a wonderful dream although it left you shaken. What is
afraid? Non other then the ego. Detach, observe, and be very greatful for the
communication from your higher self. God Bless. Gloria GgjiATNOSPAMaol.com

I've had the same burning sensations. My palms would turn tomato red and
feel as if they were on fire. A Tai Chi teacher suggested that I visualize
the chi extending outward from my fingertips as I planted my feet in the
ground.

This really helped to cool things down for me as well as the realization
that the chi was working through some tightness. I am an artist too and
channeling the energy into my work (or rubbing my children's feet lovingly)
gave the excess energy a purpose.

Subject: Fresh topics of discussion

Dear Martin,

Your post was wonderful. We have many discussions in our household on these
topics.

This morning in fact we had an interesting one. I was remarking that before
I get a migraine, and for a while into it, there is a period of
"hyperlucidity" which can best be characterized by having my sense of
boundaries or limitations relaxed. It can be either a postitive or negative
event. We have been playing with the concept that as long as I get these
migraines, how can I harness the energy of hyperlucidity that accompanies them?

.....Medical note: (The period before the migraine, during which auras,
visual distortions, hallucinations, etc, can occur, is well recognized in
medicine. While there are theories as to what is happening--some scientists
believe certain blood vessels in the brain are shrinking, whatever THAT
means-- there are no hard and fast answers as to how this pre-migrainous,
hyperlucid state comes to happen.)....

Paranoia can easily set in when I feel that boundaries are non-existent.
EG-- if she lied to you, then what type of morals does she have--? And if
she has no morals, then what is to stop her from lying again--? And what is
to stop her from doing more desparate acts in the future--? Such as...?

Ecstacy can also set in. If my fear of what others though of me was
nonexistent, then what would stop me from doing more to spread love--? What
would happen if everyone told one other person in the world to have a
love-in on a certain date and it happened, just like the Berlin Wall came
down--? What would that feel like in that moment, etc? How would the
consciousness be willing to jump from that point onwards to even better--?

Okay, you see the point, I'm sure.

Now, in the state of orgasm, there is also hyperlucidity, the relaxation of
mental boundaries concurrent with the relaxation of the physical boundaries
that prevent us from being in a great big orgasm all day and all night long.
Naturally those mental and physicial (and emotional and spiritual)
boundaries are useful when we are driving to the store or talking to our
boss, as well as they are nice to relax when it is appopriate to go into an
orgasmic state.

Hyperlucidity occures also in the use of psychoactive drugs, and definitely
when people are having kundalini experiences. Yes, mediation gets us there too.

Hyperlucidity (perhaps other terms or words were used) has been credited by
some as the driving force that propelled mankind to where it is today.
Elephants and tribal peoples ate things like mushrooms and peyote, (read
Terrance Mckenna and others for more on this train of thought) great saints
had Kundalini, Thomas Jefferson had tererible migraines. (In fact, he said
that the constitution would not have been framed nearly as well without the
benefit of hemp. He smoked it continually for his migraines and so did lots
of the other framers.)

Maybe it is time to stop categorizing things into spirit, body, emotion, and
mind. Energy is energy. Shakti, chi, kundalini, orgasm, all energy. All lead
to the state where our boundaries dissolve and we can become whatever we
have the ability to dream to become, when such energies are manifested for good.

The higher we can dream, the more we can dream of what is possible for
humankind. The evolution turns out to be our freedom from self-imposed
limitations, over and over and over.

This morning we were wondering what would happen when we combined
hyperlucidity from different sources (excluding drugs, which are not even of
remote interest of us). But, like, migraines and orgasm, etc? Just fun
things to experiment with.

By the way, http://www.vitalenergy.com/issseem/ is the link for the
International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine
(ISSSEEM). This discusses more about paranormal events, mind/body/eenrgy
systems, etc, in a very scientfic and spiritual partnership.

Looking forward to more discussions on these topics.

Best to all, Patti

Dear Melissa,

My heart went out for you. Thank you for your confession, your willingness
to bare your soul and reveal your vulnerabilities. Thanks for your trust in
us, that we would hear you and still want to relate to you as we always do,
etc. This is a special group that includes you and a group where you felt safe.

In another sense I truly sensed that you need not suffer guilt about what
you have done. I do not use drugs, but I do not judge others for the paths
that they have rightfullly chosen for themselves.

Many people have used drugs to awaken their kundalini. In my opinion, this
world desparately needs this beautiful loving enegy. The k's effects have
clearly stayed with you long after the drug wore off. You are fortunate to
have gotten your gift. No matter how. It is just our society that places
judgements on pot; in other cultures drugs are socially sanctioned means of
allowing its people access to the divine.

In our culture, without proper guidance, and with social moral negative
judgement, people still choose to do this of course, but at what appears to
be a greater risk in terms of the desired outcomes of spiritual growth. It
is easy to have unintended outcomes!

PS As to why I do not use drugs, I cannot. My k would blast off way too
hard. Not a moral judgement, more like survival!

Keep sharing.

Love, Patti
